Very friendly staff, Nellie (reception), Thomas, Nellie, Theresa, Altonia, Cluadia and Karl in the restaurant - nothing was too much trouble. Always smiling, friendly and happy to help. We had private pool bungalow which was spacious and clean. Plunge pool well maintained although a little tired looking. Great views over lagoon and island. Good food although a little change maybe...

Whether your travelling alone or with friends of family I highly recommend staying at Mangoes Resort Vanuatu. I recently booked a holiday flying solo and was a little concerned I would get bored and wasn't sure about travelling alone and staying alone. I booked Mangoes Resort and honestly couldn't be happier. I was welcomed upon arrival by one of the...

We stayed at Mangoes for five nights. The resort is very clean, with great service all round. We were a bit disappointed that wifi in the room was an extra cost, as was air conditioning. Paying these prices, I would have expected both to be included. Restaurant staff are great, and always friendly & eager to have a chat. If...

We stayed for 7 nights firstly in a room overlooking the harbour. Clean & spacious with a fridge & kitchenette. The staff were welcoming on arrival & the cool drink was great!!! We were upgraded into a room with a pool which was fantastic. Still clean & with all we needed & lovely views. The overhead fans were enough, we...

We stayed at Mangoes for 5 nights for our first year wedding anniversary. It is a lovely resort for privacy and peacefulness and the views from our room were great (room 23). The location is a bit out of town (locals tell you a 5 minute walk - it isn't, it is a 20 minute walk) but that isn't a...

Make sure you book a room with aircon (only a couple of them have it), and they desperately need it... Service at reception we mediocre at best, and restaurant/bar staff were better... - Both Dinner and Breakfast were good, but certainly you are paying Australian prices..

Myself and a friend staying her for 4 weeks in Jan/Feb 2016 while we were on a placement at Port Avila hospital. We chose Mangoes for the location and at a recommendation from other students who had previously stayed here. Mangoes was extremely accommodating for us during our whole 4 week stay and it was the perfect place to come...

Delightful, boutique resort in a quiet part of Vila, up on the ridge overlooking Erakor Lagoon .... wonderful staff, gorgeous smiles, fabulous tropical style villa unit accommodation, fantastic breakfasts. We booked one of the larger Garden View Apartments, and really appreciated having the extra living space. We just loved having our own private plunge pool, in addition to using the...

We visited for our 5th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect location. No kids, private Bure with plunge pool, very tranquil location great restaurant. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Kayla was particularly helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to see and general tips on getting around. Even arranged a bottle of champagne and...

Travelled and stayed here with my husband here Dec-2015/Jan-2016. We chose Mangoes from good reviews online, and it was reasonably priced while having the option of having our own plunge pool. Also preferred to stay in a no-kids resort. We stayed here on NYE and we walked to the edge of the resort to see if we could get a...
