We checked in pretty late to Kaiviti, and Ashlea was pretty darned great. She met us at the gate, got us to our rooms, confirmed our 4:45am transfers and booked us in for a fabulous night at the waterfront. We were booked through a wholesaler for just a nights accommodation, fairly last minute, and we did well with Kaiviti to...

We had a delightful week at the Kaiviti Motel recently. Following Cyclone Pam, in March, there had been much devastation and destruction in and around Port Vila and surrounding villages. However, Kaiviti survived well and was a safe and happy place as we reached out to those in need. Our self-contained unit was clean, comfortable and well cared for by...

For those of you have stayed here before, you'll be pleased to know the old girl is in the midst of a facelift and is well worth getting reacquainted with. From my first stay here back in the late 90s, it was sad to see the place get rundown but the new owners are doing a great job in the...

Clean , good location, a bit expensive. The rooms are large, with AC . The beds are good. The kitchen has all the basic stuff, refrigerator, oven.,etc.. The swimming pool is nice. The staff was nice and welcome.

I suppose that a hotel can be more than just a hotel when we face a disastrous situation. The owners and staff of Kaiviti Motel in Port Vila did an excellent job of looking after their guests when Port Vila was hit by Cyclone Pam and in the aftermath of the cyclone. They ensured as much as possible that the...

I booked myself and 2 young children into the Kaiviti Motel on the 11th March, 2 days before Vanuatu was hit by an extremely destructive cyclone. I had stayed at the Kaiviti a few years before but was very pleased to note the extensive renovations that had been done since my last stay. Upon arrival I was advised by management...

We arrived around 2am in the morning and were met by staff who directed us to our room. The room was well appointed, clean and quite spacious. Awaking the next morning and getting to eat breakfast by the pool under the native-looking shelters was MOST pleasant. The staff were very helpful and I would recommend this Motel to anyone considering...

Staff were great and very friendly. Place was spotless. The place is a bit old and the prices are probably a little more than you would expect for what you get. But if you look for a less expensive hotel, there is an even sharper drop off in quality. It is generally comfortable though for what you pay. They could...

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on the motel. It sounds like that you stayed in one of the non renovated rooms. The motel now has 18 fully renovated standard and executive rooms which are well worth the extra. Further upgrades are planned for the remaining of the year and next year as we work through...

The two bedroom apartment was old and shabby with very old bedding. There was a foul smell in the kids bedroom and needed to buy an air freshner to help with the smell. Unit 29. I had told cleaning staff about this but nothing was done. One day our room was not serviced at all and we struggled to get...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are progressively moving through the motel with our future renovation plans and the apartments will be upgraded over time. I am sorry that there was an unpleasant smell in the room, but I was not made aware of your complaint in order to take action. Unfortunately a lot of...
