This used to be a good place to stay for long term stays in Kinshasa. The management is not doing a good job maintaining the rooms and there is lots of humidity in many of the rooms. One major downside which they cannot change is that it gets extremely loud during the weekends, so bring earplugs. My big issue is...

Three of us stayed there for a total of four nights, one night was unexpected because there was violence in the city near where our pilot lived, so we had to wait a day to fly to our work locations. The staff was helpful in rebooking us right away. The air conditioner in my room broke and flooded about half...

It took them more than TWO HOURS to bring the food out. After 1.5 hours, the waiter apologized and asked if he can bring a small bite while we're waiting. We accepted, but he charged it all at the end. And pizza was $20 (total $90 for 3 of us for horrible food and even worse service). Never again to...

Excellent service. Rooms are actually small apartments (bedroom, living room, kitchen). Everythin supplied. Well located. Offers 2 restaurants on site. Very large pool. Many tennis courts. Lot of parking space. Only minus: Next door restaurant plays music in the evening on Friday, Saturday and Sunday but it stops around 21:30h.

I really like this place. I was prepared not to; I'd read so-so reviews, but a colleague who knows better strongly encouraged me to stay here. I'm glad for it. Le Voyageur, you should know, is now renamed the Elais. Elais is the Latin name for the genus of the oil palm, fitting because this is the former guest house...

I stayed for 5 days and paid about $215 a night for bed and breakfast. The room was a mini-apartment and nice enough but pretty functional and probably worth it if you are going to eat in for a few nights of your stay. The bathroom was pretty ponging at times and the room internet intermittent. The breakfasts are a...

If you are looking a room with kitchenette, Le Voyageur is the right place. The room is wide and have a living room that includes Kitchenette. Service includes free WiFi, breakfast and use of sporting facilities owned by Elsais which is located within the same compound. It looks like hotel Le voyageur and Elsais have some kind of agreement that...

Shocking really that this institution can run and be used with the 215 USD per night, and hardly correct internet and breakfast. Kinshasa has a long way to go in terms of competetive accommodation alternatives. Lovely swimmingpool and the tennis court within the leafy plush enclave in the otherwise quite rough vicinity of the Boulevard. Apartments quite small and basic,...

I was here for business for several months and would definitely stay here again. There are nicer hotels in town, but if you're in Kinshasa more than a week this is the place to stay. Security was great, I had no issues with security for my room or car.i stayed in a long term room so I had a cooktop,...

In the hustle and buste of Kinshasa is this gem of a hotel. It feels homey (ask for the "apartment" as that includes a living room, dining table, kitchenette, large bedroom) and is secure. Also, it is near a nice grocery store called Regal, which I recommend over the overpriced Peloustore across the street. Le Voyageur has a nice Olympic-sized...
