Every staff member I encountered had a pleasant vibe – greet you with smiles in their eyes, friendliness, and eagerness to help. The guards were respectful, front desk and managers were amicable and did their best to accommodate and cater to inquiries and requests. The restaurant staff - all of them – exudes a positive disposition and were professional in their interactions with guests. The room cleaners, especially Mr. Saw, was a delight! He politely asks to enter your room to clean, chats in a friendly but professional manner asking how my day was, etc. He even proudly showcased the disinfecting stuff/ procedures the hotel incorporates in their operation to keep guest safe. I am not sure about other hotels’ standards, but I can honestly say that the Accor All Safe standard is top level. All things considered and given the trying situation, the hotel was even able to upgrade their breakfast buffet and include healthy options to their menu. It is much appreciated and a well-received gesture from the hotel management. I love that you get both firm and fluffy (down) pillows on the bed. The bed itself feels luxurious – must be because of the special type of bed topper in use, which you don’t see that often in most hotels. Both of these, do make a lot of improvement for the quality of sleep. Overall, great experience and definitely will recommend to everyone. Commendation to all management and staff. Thank you for making my stay safe, secure, and pleasant.

Nice facility of the room, pool, gym and the delicious breakfast. But the reason why I extended to stay was that I had experienced the best hospitality of the staff. Even though I love to stay in Mercure Hotel all over the world, (especially in London and Paris in these 10 years), I believe the hospitality in Yangon Kaba Aye is the best. For example, the staff in the restaurant, Mr. Sin Htet, Mr. Myo Lwin Oo, Ms. Eity, Ms. Ei Htet, Mr. Htet So Taung, Mr. Ko Ko zin and Chef Ko Swa Swe Min and all staffs greet to me cheerfully every morning with big smile and gorgeous buffet which I come feel at home everyday. And also for my room, Ms. Cinderella and Mr. Myo Min Thein are taking care perfectly and Mr. Saw Swe is doing proper countermeasures against covid-19 in the gym and pool. In terms of security, security team are working much tightly than that in the other 5-stars in Yangon. Last but never least, the reception's team taking care of me with the swift response and actions. That's why I decided to choose Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye out of all 5 star hotels in Yangon.

My wife and I resided in the Mercure hotel from jan 2020 - May 2021, during that period we have the highest respect for the management and staff. These were difficult times in Myanmar , but the staff and management kept proffesional throughout, the hotel has a very good standard, the room are comfortable, and clean, food and pricing very resonable, i would not hesitate to return to the Mercure, or recommend to anyone.
