With tourism just starting to boom, Myanmar had limited hospitality options. Central hotel offers a clean, basic room st an affordable price. It is centrally located and had an on site restaurant with a great variety of food.

The hotel is centrally located but the hotel is really old. The room we stayed in is fairly big however it is very old. It has wallpaper from the 70's with moldy closet and old furnitures. The bed skirts and sheets were ok but not perfect. The mirror in the room had some sort of tape or black stains on...

We were not in-house guests. We only stop by for a dinner when staying in a nearby hotel in Yangon on Dec. 7th, 2016. We ordered grilled steak and sea food fried noodle. The steaks come out as hard as a rock. It tasted like yak-steak I had at 3500m high mountain in Manang, Nepal. From the picture you can...

This hotel is clean, very well located and the service is excellent. The restaurant also is good also with excellent service. The staff is very, very obliging and patient and helpful, and they have a great sense of humor. This is not a hotel for prestige, or history, or luxury, it's simply a very comfortable, very agreeably priced, very hospitably...

It is a clean and decent place for the price. Mild stuffy smell in the corridors, no big deal. Rooms and bathrooms are dimly lit at night so if you have vision problems reconsider. The shower head was at my shoulder level and I'm only 5'2" but maybe that's how it is everywhere and it did come off to become...

The hotel is right in the hustle and bustle of the city. Big rooms, very clean. The only thing that could be improved is there isnt a main light in the room, just spot lights so it made it hard for me to pack! I like a well lit room. Other than that it was a plea sent stay

If you are on a business trip and plan to do some work at night, you will have problems as there is not enough light in the room. It is too dark to read books and documents. But Internet access is okay if compare with other local hotel under the same category.

I spent the first night in Myanmar in this hotel. Overall, nothing too much for expected from a 3 stars hotel. Room is a bit old, very friendly staffs, specially in Reception counter. The location is perfect, just opposite to Aung San Boyoke market with large selection of Myanmar traditional handicrafts, souvernirs, silk ..... but please be informed about the...

I stayed at Central Hotel for four nights in mid-May, 2016. The service was friendly and helpful from the moment I stepped in the door. My room on the third floor was clean and spacious with a nice view of the busy street below. It's not a new hotel and is showing its age, but that's okay. It adds to...

Great location, close to Pagodas and other touristic attractions, very friendly staff, great buffet, easy to get a taxi, comfortable clean rooms. I didn't like that the housekeeping woke me up 2 times in one hour, it hasn't happen to me before in any hotel, but that is the only thing I didn't like. Even the smell of that hotel...
