Stayed twice on one trip around the country. The hotel is simple, the accommodation acceptable without being flash and the staff very helpful. The positioning is great - a few hundred meters from the main markets - the originally named Scott Market, and a short and always terrifically interesting walk into the centre of town. The small restaurant is good...

It is a good value budget hotel, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned (sort of a 60s asian style hotel) but overall is clean and acceptable. As its name suggested the hotel has a wonderful central location. Market is just a few minutes walk away. wifi service is good inside the room and at the lobby, we can upload and...

The hotel is in a good location and the famous Bogyoke Market is just a 5 min walk away. My room was clean with comfortable beds. Each room has a fridge mini bar and a hairdryer. The buffet breakfast has limited fare but enough variety. There is a Malaysia Airlines ticket office in the lobby and a travel agency just...

Yangon is not really geared up for tourists yet so we were advised to book in advance, it's good advice because there is a shortage of hotel rooms in the city. The Central is a good hotel in a city with not too much choice in the mid-range bracket. The staff were helpful and friendly, as with most places in...

Overall, the services their provided is nothing surprising. However, The thing I love the most of this hotel is its staffs. They are really friendly and service-minded. They react enthusiastically when I asked for a favor (I asked many time 55+). Its location is in between the city and the Shwedagon Pagoda. It takes you around 20-30 minutes walk to...

Good location you can walk around in the night or get something to eat. A little too dark and noise in the night but the room is big. WiFi are slow, at least there's one. They serve good breakie and if you're leaving to the airport before the restaurant ready for breakfas,t do ask the reception ready a simple breakfast...

Great beds, big room with a central location. Central surprised us as it looked fairly ordinary when we entered the lobby and on our first stay we had an I renovated room which was clean but need reprinting, etc, but was still comfortable. On our return we stayed one floor up in a renovated room which was fine. Good value...

As the name suggest, Central is really centrally located within walking distance to Bogyoke market, Sule Paya, Hiogh Court building, Central Railway station, restaurants, Maha Mandula Garden, Muslim, Indian & chinese shopping area. Reception, Bellboys and House Keeping staff are very friendly. Bellboys go out of their way to assist. Restaurant is located on lobby level and serves buffet breakfast...

The hotel is as the name suggest located very centrally. 10 min walk from the railway station, a few blocks from the Market, Sule pagoda etc. Lot of eateries near by, among other some western options, like Zagyi Cafe accross the street Big rooms, wifi. Of some reason their towels arrived wrapped in plastic, and smelled really, really bad! It...
