It's located at the hill so if you're dragging the luggage, it's really tiring to go up hill. If you're using taxi, make sure you have the address with you. As our taxi had a hard time finding it. The location is easier to find as there's lots of sign boards giving directions as you exit from Exit 1 at... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Most main attractions are walking distance or a short subway ride away. We were lucky enough to have three beautiful spring days so we walked everywhere but if you want to take the subway it is only 3 minutes walk away. The room is a good size but the bed was... More

We stayed in this hotel for almost a week and it was quite comfortable and ideal. Check-in/out was smooth (a good number of the hotel clerks spoke English!) and staff was very nice. We had one of the basement rooms, which was huge and quiet, but I would've been down to pay more as there were no windows and the... More

The hotel is located 5-10 minutes from the metro station and trust me, you wouldn't want to be pushing your luggage up the hill (livin' up to its name). Do not expect much from the breakfast because the spread wasn't that fancy. We arrived earlier than expected but wasn't allowed an early check-in. We were told to leave out luggages... More

This hotel is in a spectacular location. Easy walk to the cable car, shopping street, markets and tons of restaurants nearby. The rooms were a good size, solid 3 star. Despite the cold weather outside the rooms were so warm. They were also quiet which was great. The breakfast wasn't very exciting but adequate. The bathrooms could have used a... More

The hotel is about 5 mins walking from the main street so it is quite but it is a bit difficult for taxi driver to find the hotel even I gave them the hotel card visit. The room is clean and cozy, the staff is nice, I like the breakfast. The location is good, 7 mins walking to Namdaemon market,... More

We liked this place. The directions given by reader Purobi were spot on. (Thank you.) There's a reason it's called Hill House Hotel. We found the approach rather steep when pushing two large suitcases and carry-ons. (Seoul was the start of a 3.5 week journey.) I say this as someone who has run four marathons and still does half-marathons. Of... More

It's centrally located in Seoul; walking distance away from Namdaemun, Myeongdong and the famous Namsan Park and Tower. A short walk away from Hoehyeon Station (Line 4). Downside is that cabs aren't available in front of the establishment but the hotel can ring one up for you if you'd like (for a van, you need to inform them at least... More

Nice hotel, basic but clean and great service, staff speak good english, breakfast included gluten free options (eggs, fried rice and cereal). Beds quite hard but I liked them just fine. There was both kettle and fridge in room, supposedly a microwave but I couldn't get mine to work. The area is perhaps a little intimidating to inexperienced travellers (lots... More
