Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our Korean cycle trip and was a really nice place. Decent common room to meet other travellers and a good breakfast to start the day. Really like the location in the studenty area of Seoul with plenty of places to find good food or pop to the local shop for some... More

Bong is a charismatic cheerful guy who gives the guesthouse this pleasant atmosphere~ The rooms have an excellent layout, I guess a traditional style that I've seen nowhere else! The staff are all very friendly, in particular I met this inspirational guy, Ku, kind of looked like a women from behind with his long black mane-like hair. 5 stars to... More

Usually when I travel solo I always stay in hostels... And there are much better options for the same price in Seoul for example. I have to agree that the location is amazing, near many many budget restaurants - since it's an university area. Many stores, transportation only a few minutes walk... But the hostel itself wasn't the best experience.... More

On arrival I was told only single (tiny floor mattress room was available for W30,000). Ok, I was tired - acceptable - in the hope that a dorm for half that price might be available the next day. "No: we're fully booked till November." Mr Bong then told me the next day he could offer me W13,000 for the next... More

We stayed at bong house for 7 days. All I can say that this guesthouse is awesome! There a lot of famous restaurant , convenient store and famous shop along the way from subway to hostel. We stay at private room with kitchen and bathroom. Perfect! Highly recommended. The price was also reasonable and cheap. The last day we should... More

A lovely and intimate place where everybody will chat and get to know everybody else, after a few days it really felt like a home away from home. The rooms are comfortable and the place has a kitchen to cook meals and washing machines for laundry. The staff are terrific and Mr Bong is quite a character! Location is also... More

Bong's house is around 10mins walk from Hyewa station exit 4. Our room was clean and spacious. It has its own bathroom and kitchen. Coffee and toast are free for breakfast and the owners are very accomodating. Price is reasonable so I will recommend this to those who will go to Seoul.

Booked a room for four. Impressed that our room has a kitchenette and a refrigerator which is very rare for hostels plus their rate is among the cheapest in Seoul. Subway is just 5mins walk and lots of stores and restaurants in the area. The only thing I have not enjoyed here is fhe breakfast - bread, strawberry jam and... More
