Unfortunately not a great experience at Hotel Skypark 1. We booked a standard room, which from the pictures we received with our confirmation included a shower/bath, double bed and cupboard/desk space. Our bed was not comfortable and on the floor, however this we were happy to deal with. The biggest inconsistency was the bathroom, we didn’t have a bath or full shower. It was hose shower head connected to the tap in the basin, with no dedicated shower space, meaning water filled the bathroom floor. When we raised this with the staff we were offered to change rooms for 1 night, we appreciated this however declined as there wasn’t much point in packing up our belongings for 1 night, before checking out the next morning. We were offered a discount to which we agreed, then were told it would be worked out at checkout. Upon checking out, we had to explain the situation again as we had a different employee, however this time we were told a discount wasn’t an option and instead we were offered a complimentary body lotion. Whilst we understand that each room will have its differences and may differ to photos, we tried to explain that this should be within reason. Having booked a room and gotten something completely different and without many “guarantees” (as per website) is not within reason. We were also very disappointed with the service upon checking out. Given this we will not be returning to Hotel Skypark 1 or the other facilities in this chain. I would recommend that bookings are made cautiously given the high degree of inconsistencies and the inability to recognize that differences should be within a realm of reasonable.

It is clean, hygienic, and very basic. The rooms are no bigger than large broom cupboards with very little space for open suitcases. But unlike many South Korea hotels, it does have a very high tech bidet! The free breakfast gets rather crowded and ends by 9.30 am. Reception is very polite and sweet but has minuscule knowledge of English. The prices of this unassuming hotel which is structured more like a boarding house is justified by its unbeatable location which for a tourist is often the most important thing!

The rooms were clean and had friendly staff! Amenities like toothbrush can be purchased at the Lobby. They had full shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles available to be purchased at the front desk. The room also included 110v US prong power outlet so no need for a converter. The location was very convenient, right in the middle of Myeongdong. We used the Myeongdong station exit 7 (escalator), walked to the main street and turned left after Innisfree. The hotel is right next to SPAO. We were able to shop, rest, and shop again!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near MyeongDong Station, right in the heart of the MyeongDong shopping area. Although the twin room was small, it was impeccably clean and featured a good-sized toilet with a bath tub and bidet. The hotel also provided excellent amenities, including free WiFi, bottled water, and tea and coffee sachets. The combination of location, cleanliness, and amenities made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Great experience at Hotel Skypark Myeongdong I. Would definitely recommend to tourists. They have magazines in their lobby to accommodate you. They also offer Airport limousine to airport at a cost. Hand sanitizers are also given in their front desk which is a great defense against viruses.

There is no business floor as such. Lobby is on 11th floor. All regular rooms are on the floors below .
All guests of Sky Park are entitled to the Coin Laundri service of the MYEONG DONG 2 and MYEONG DONG 3 .You can show your room key when you visit.
Shower gel and shampoo is provided. But you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
