I stayed 1 night at Stanford Hotel in Seoul at the end of my trip in South Korea as I wanted to stay at a hotel with a swimming pool for a reasonable price. Stanford Hotel is in Digital Media City area of Seoul which is on the outskirts of the city and the subway station is a decent 20 to 30 minute walk. The subway station does have a direct link to the airport which is convenient. The hotel reception were fast and efficient. The breakfast had a really good variety and quality of food, the best hotel breakfast I had in South Korea. Good quality night sleep with no street noise. The room itself was on the smaller size and I found it hard to find a convenient place to boil the kettle / jug and to charge my phone. The room was mostly clean, but there was a squashed dead insect which wasn’t cleaned off. The swimming pool / fitness centre cost $15,000 Korean won which I was happy to pay. The pool itself was reasonable size and decent changing rooms. This is probably not the best hotel if you want to be a tourist and sightsee around Seoul as it is a bit out of the way. However, if you want a night at a place with a swimming pool, a good quality breakfast and a direct train to airport, then I would recommend it. 4 stars out of 5.…

The hotel lobby and facilities like fitness center are very nice, the service at the reception was welcoming and very helpful. The room however was a little less great than you would expect from the impression you got in the lobby. The room was quite small, furniture, carpet floor and bathroom seemed older and the bed was very hard. Cleanliness was good, except for the shower head. In general, the hotel was fine but not great.

I stayed for two nights there. First, locations are good. It's close from the Airport Train station. There are broadcasting companies around the hotel. Second, rooms are good. Bed is clean and bathroom has a good condition too. Third, there is huge gym in this hotel and there is a small indoor pool. Last beakfast is satisfactory and staff are very kind. Recommended.

I am not sure how to really rate this hotel. There was nothing horrible about it, but also nothing great. I just felt a kind of dark, dreary mood to it. When we went to check in there was no line and the hotel didn't seem busy, but they were adamant about making me pay for a late checkout even though I only wanted to stay an hour later. The room was small, which I thought for that area was kind of a surprise. The room was clean, but tv was hard to use, and the amenities were only soap and shampoo and a bottle of water. The bed and pillow quality would be what I would expect from a cheap motel. We called house keeping for an extra blanket for my son bc he was cold and they said the would have to charge us. I have stayed at tons of hotels but I can not ever remember to have to pay for a blanket. They finally relented and gave us a bed sheet. Really shocked at that. Location is great as its close to a lot of restaurants etc etc. Also, I found the price fair for the room. I am not sure if I would stay there again though as I really didnt like the service they provided. I would expect more if they want to be considered an above average hotel. I wish I could do half star as I think a 2 is a bit unfair, but I think a 3 is a bit too high.…

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived early prior to the check-in time and didn't expect them to take such good care of us.the staff were also fluent in English which made the process a lot easier. The rooms were clean and modern and overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Neat and clean but small rooms. Indoor pool, see spa and decent gym. Breakfast is good, mostly continental and korean-chinese combination. No Indian options. Probably because they have very few Indian guests. They are very particular about check in and check out timings. If your flight comes early in morning, you might have to wait till 3 pm or pay at least half days charge. Location is good, near shopping area and eateries, but far from Myongdong street and palaces. More of a business district. Hotel staff is courteous and service is good.

I stayed here on business recently and enjoyed my stay. The hotel service is good, from check in through to being served in the dining and bar areas. My room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast has a good size dining area and plenty of tables, and the bar downstairs is pleasant for an after work drink. Our company also held a conference here for three days and the facilities were perfect for our needs (around 90 people).
