We went to many hotels in South Korea and this is the best place with a great choice for us, we really had a wonderful experience here. A reasonable price, helpful and friendly staffs. I feel like home since the first arrived till departure. The room is simple decoration but I loved it and comfortable bed. A perfect location and very very conveniences, there’s a lot of coffee shops, restaurants,Mini Mart and so many attractive tourist areas nearby. It’s just a couple minutes walk to bus station, airport bus and railroad. I will stay here again if I come back. Thank you for a lovely hospitality from front desk staffs. Great Job 👍
Hi, we spent two days before Christmas in New Seoul hotel. Very good hotel and really nice Staff. Room were big. Food was very good. Cafe in the hotel really good. Easy acces to royal palace and few museums. Thank you
what I love about this hotel is the location and how big the room is. very convenient & accessible!! will definitely go back to Korea & book with then again! My family & kids loved the room and how we can walk to Myeongdong & access main destination!
I booked a "Hollywood" room for an extra price, which is basically a newly renovated room. For some reason they gave me an old room for the first night but then moved me to the new room after. Always ask for tye newly renovated rooms. Staff are super nice and the location is great. However, I paid an extra money for the breakfast, which was a total loss. The breakfast is a complete disaster. An excellent hotel except for the miserable breakfast.
The hotel itself is no longer new. It is a basic hotel with no frills. Basic toiletteries and bed. We were in room 511 which was pleasant enough. There was air con and good WiFi and also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However, it was very convenient for our to visit local attractions. Down to floor 2 for breakfast which was very sparse. Cereal, breads and scrambled eggs were available. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer and we found it cheaper to eat outside.
While the location of this hotel is relatively convenient, it is in the busier part of the business district. The hotel building itself is passable, the staff spoke English and check in was easy. The rooms however, were very old, and the carpets were damp ..and sticky. Also, the drainage in the bathroom was not very good, and a quick shower would end with standing in 2 inches of shower water in the bathtub. Other than that, at least the beds were clean, although the bedding and towels were quite old and worn.
I stayed here for four nights. I had a room which was nice and pretty clean. The semi double room I had included a small refrigerator which was convenient. The hotel staff were courteous, professional and very nice. They answered any questions I had and even translated a couple museum addresses for me into Korean, so I could show this to the taxi driver. The temperature got a little chilly at night and the hotel front desk person even gave me a heater to use since they had not turned on the heat in the air conditioning unit in the rooms. This area is located centrally and you have access to many restaurants, coffee shops and the metro station near by. I recommend this place as an enjoyable place to stay and relax.
The quality of the rooms here are quite good. My only complaint with this hotel is that compared to most Asian hotels the breakfast was nothing special and the breakfast menu is also quite static. However, what is great about this hotel is the price and location. This is certainly one of the best locations in the city. A lot of attractions are walkable and there is a metro stop around the corner.
The hotel is located not far away from the subway station, the streets of many restaurants and the famous Cheonggyecheon. It has a restaurant on 2nd floor though I didn't get the chance to try it due to many restaurants behind the hotel :D One of the reception can speak English quite well so it's very helpful for those unable to speak Korean. Unfortunately it didn't have self/coin laundry in the hotel but they do have laundry service. The nearest 24 hours coin laundry service is about 2 kms from the hotel (if I remember correctly) or you can take a bus from the station in front of Seoul Financial Center (SFC), stop near Gyeongbukgung palace then walk a bit. There's a bike station near SFC but unfortunately most of the times when I went there there's no bike to rent. The room was big enough to accomodate a queen bed and a single bed. The problem only with the air conditioner control where it's in Korean so a bit difficult to adjust. There's a safe deposit box in the room and the hotel had a free wifi too. All in all I don't have any issue with the hotel and its service.…
This hotel was walking distances to the palace and the subway station. The beds were firm and I slept well (maybe due to jet lag). The rooms cool down to 16C when set! Makes it for a very nice long sleep! There is a 7-eleven right nearby for late night or early rise snacks like boiled eggs or microwave noodles. Only thing was the towel was very small and for our family of four, we kept getting 2 towels and had to ask for more. The front desk staff was very nice. Overall, I do recommend the stay here for quick stay (we stayed only 4 nights).
