The Plaza not only has a great location, across from City Hall, but also a short walk to the Metro, markets, major shopping and other major sites in Seoul. The staff of the hotel are outstanding. Service goes above and beyond. If you don't speak Korean no need to worry. Most, if not all the staff speaks English.

One of the best business hotels I’ve stayed in ! While the rooms are not very big but they are extremely cosy and cute. The bed faces the window and you get a view of the Seoul plaza which is very buzzing! The staff in the lobby has been very helpful to help with cab bookings as language is a constraint! They would just arrange for a cab and explain the directions There are several restaurants close to the hotel.. I was looking for veg food. There’s a salad place close to the hotel ( back side ) and the Seoul financial center which is 5 mins walk has restaurant Ganga which is a Indian restaurant The hotel is also close to the subway .. which is just 1 minute from the hotel entrance .. Overall a fabulous place to stay, would love to visit again..

This was the absolute best hotel we have ever stayed at and we travel fairly often. The staff at the Plaza was first class and was the most attentive, respectful, dedicated staff that we have ever encountered and interacted with. Specifically, Vicky Kim and and Peter Jang were the two most helpful people at the concierge. We had lost our luggage and Vicky dedicated her entire day with regular correspondence with the airport and airline to ensure that our luggage would be personally delivered to the airport. She went absolutely above and beyond. Both Vicky and Peter were extraordinary helpful at the concierge in helping plan my proposal that was planned for the trip and took every request as a personal mission to provide the absolute best experience. Additionally, Harry Tak and Donald Moon were unbelievably kind and went above and beyond to help with any additional requests. The management of this hotel was world class and absolutely blew away all of our expectations. They truly made our vacation a dream, made us feel like family, and helped leave an extraordinary representation of the city of Seoul. I urge anyone that is looking for a hotel to consider the plaza. You cannot find better location, friendly staff, and lavish accommodations. If there was six stars available for a hotel, the plaza would be truly deserving of it. Thank you for giving us the best vacation of our lives!

I stayed here for 1 night while on an extremely quick business trip to Seoul. After landing early, I arrived at the Plaza at 530a. Checkin was quick, and I was given room 1063. As others have noted, the room is quite cozy as it features the basics: Small desk and chair, king bed, and bathroom. Everything seemed a little stale, and the shower pressure was horrible. Also, the towels were not very soft. I did have breakfast at their restaurant, and While they have ample selections, none were that great. The coffee was atrocious, so I resorted to getting a latte from their barista. The location is quite good as it was a short walk to my meeting venue. Overall, it’s fine if you only plan on being in town for 1-2 days as I wouldn’t stay here beyond that.

I stayed at the plaza for 5 nights in October during a business trip. Check-in was easy and fast. The requested early check-in did work. Hotel staff did carry my luggage for me and showed me my room. I had a room on 16th floor to the „back“ (not City view). Which is more quiet. Room was spacious and had a tablet to control temperature, lights, curtains and so on. Bathroom was good as well, unfortunately a bath tub and no walk-in shower, but that’s OK. Room and bath had lots of mirrors, on the walls, which was a bit special. Curtains are good, noise level was OK and bed was comfortable. So I can recommend. Breakfast was huge and much choices. From Asian to Western. Small minus for me, the hotel bar and kitchen did. close at 9pm, but you can order dinner and snacks to the room.

Amazing location, modern interior, lovely staff. I stayed at this hotel (room number #1260) for two nights. I was impressed by the chick design and the automated system. The location is superb! And the look over the square is just wow! I do recommend you to stay here!

Why stay at the Four Seasons when there's The Plaza? Nothing against 4S of course. But The Plaza is twice as good given the cost. A striking, modern design and the building is kept in immaculate condition. (Well, we did need an electrician's help with a lighting problem, but they solved it very very quickly and at 20:30 on a Sunday.) The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities of a five star. Great fun that the room blinds open and close automatically when you insert or take your room key out of the panel. Most of all, the staff is extraordinary. Or maybe ordinary for Korea - this is our first trip to Korea, and we've been treated with great hospitality everywhere. But, I doubt it, given how skilled and helpful all the team is here. This is one of the best hotel values I've ever enjoyed. Only disappointment is that the stunning and lavish buffets at the main restaurant, are priced for obesity. It looks so good it may be worth around USD110 for breakfast, but I can't eat that much.

Great Hotel that is very well located close to business and cultural sites. Upgraded to a suite as a titanium member. Peter the concierge was super helpful in helping us get educated about the city and booking us a great tour of the DMZ. Ton of team members all over the place which made service excellent. Nice concierge lounge. Looking forward to returning one day…thank you! -Jackie and Jon

I recently came to Seoul for a week long business trip and stayed at the Plaza for several nights. The hotel was about an hour taxi/Uber from ICN airport. Upon arrival in the mid-afternoon my room was ready and I found check-in to be very easy with nice and helpful employees. My room was excellent and had a a nice view overlooking the green square in front of the city hall building which was nice. The room was very unique with a king sized bed in the middle facing the view and 2 massive lamps (looked like the Pixar lamps) on either side of the bed. I enjoyed that everything was push button like the curtains, blackout curtains and the lights with a hub right next to the bed. The hub does need a USB though as you could not reach one from the desk to do work etc. The TV was nice and there was a little desk area for my laptop. The bathroom was spacious and quite nice with a high-tech toilet and the bath amenities you would expect from a Marriott. I ordered coffee and light breakfast in the room each morning and they were very quick! The hotel sits on top of an underground mall and walkway that goes to the local subway which we used several times and was very convenient. There is also lots to do in walking distance from the hotel including shopping, sites and restaurants. My only small complaint is that the lounge bar and the restaurants are not open very late at all and coming back from late meetings and business dinners I was not able to relax there as they were already closed. Overall I really enjoyed the hotel, the staff and especially the location and I would recommend for a good business trip.

We booked this hotel for our business trip in Seoul and the price isn’t cheap compare to other hotels next door. My colleague left early for morning flight so he asked receptionist book taxi for him at 4am to go to airport. They SAID NO I got upgrade to premier suite but it is actually bad location with view is their extension building and I asked to change to other suite room with better view. They showed me the deluxe room and the lower floor. When I asked for suite room in conner they SAID NO. Actually premier suite bedroom is smaller than Deluxe room because they got mirror partition for living area. Generally they are different because the partition and premier they have bathtub. When I check out and want to use the pool for a while until we go for dinner (we fly out after midnight), they said they make EXCEPTION for me???? Hello sound like I am a beggar in this case! Come to the pool, it is not for hotel guest but for public and I wasn’t allow to swim because I didn’t have swimming cap. I wonder if any business traveller bring swimming cap? Not even for tourist. It sounds like hotel manager does not want their in house guest to use the pool so they can sell for public. 5 stars/upscale/ other autograph collection hotel provide turn down service. The first day they did, from the second day they did not. I call to reception, they SAID NO - they don’t at all and if we want, we have to request. It doesn’t make sense when first day they did without any request and then stop it from there. The last day happy hours for club floor cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes with explain social distance. In fact that weekend hotel is very busy and club floor is tiny to accommodate all in house guest. I STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND FOR EITHER BUSINESS OR LEISURE TRAVEL STAY HERE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT DESERVE FOR WHAT WE PAID
