Everything about this hotel was superb. The location, round-the-clock silence, helpful reception, comfortable (and spacious) room really was a winning combination. We travel a lot and it is rare to find a fairly-priced hotel in the centre of a city that doesn't have a down side. The Sunbee doesn't have a lot of flashy extras, the reception is simple but friendly and efficient. And there is a laundry room to wash and dry your own clothes - what a great idea. There is a café attached but like many in the country they focus just on drinks, so not breakfast option. That is a pity but as there are thousands of places within a one minute walk it's not an issue. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
The location of the hotel was spot on. We were able to walk everywhere. They did not serve breakfast due to COVID but were able to find a place within a few minutes. The staff was quite helpful. The cafe makes a great latte. The room was comfortable and met our needs.
Hotel was in great location near 2 main palaces and the market. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Room very clean and had all conveniences. Small cafe, but only served coffee, no food or tea. The front desk was great, and very helpful. Steven spent time with me to help me register my COVID test on Q code, and Mr. Moon found a pharmacy open at night when I needed medicine and walked me half way there to show me the way. I really appreciated the help and kindness of the staff, and would definitely recommend the hotel. It was also very quiet.
We really enjoyed this hotel! The location was great and even better was the warm hospitality we had from the employees. They were extremely accommodating, helping us with getting taxis and allowing us a late check out. Also really appreciated being about to rent a mobile wifi at a very reasonable charge. Would definitely stay there again!
Free adopters, Free water. Not spotless clean , as the inner door is dusty. We've booked 2 non smocking rooms , one of the rooms was bad with smokey smell. Shower room is big, the room is big compared to most seoul hotel. Cold service, maybe that's so called Korean style. location is not close to subway, but there are restaurants and supermarket near by.
Stayed here one night with a friend in a deluxe twin. Staff at the hotel reception were very friendly, spoke English. Room was very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. We paid additional 7,000 each for the breakfast which was great value - included coffee, juice, and a choice of french toast with sausage, and bacon. Would visit again, as the location is great for the palace area and hopefully i'll be back to do some hiking!
This little hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English! There is an elevator and there were lots of tourist brochures in the lobby. I reserved the "Korean style" room. The Korean touches were window screens and a table on the floor. The window opened for fresh air. I was there in March, so I don't need aircon, but the temperature of the room was comfortable. The bathroom was a lot nicer than I expected - very roomy. My room had plenty of room and a comfortable bed. It was a great value for the money. I would stay here again. The only negative was that it was a little bit hard for taxis to find, so ask the front desk for a business card with instructions on it to show to taxi drivers. The location is otherwise very good - centrally located and felt safe.…
The hotel is tucked at a street corner right around the big Central Mark Hotel. Have to say I was a bit misled by the rave reviews, grand pictures from the hotel website and thought this is a much larger hotel. Still give it a 4-star as the fault is on mine that I did not read all the details before booking. This is actually a 2-star hotel according to the hotel itself, while the room is clean with a decent shower and comfortable bed but the walls and furniture are cheaply made and the room is relatively small and no table that you do work. The most disappointing part is that we visited the place in December, the room temperature was defaulted to 32 Celsius - this is insane and it only cooled down one degree a day no matter how you try to adjust the thermos. You practically being toasted in the room all night long. Luckily the hotel opens the windows while letting the heater runs ... what a waste. The location is excellent thou, in walking distance to many major attractions but there are plenty other nicer hotels around too.…
Very happy with my stay in the Sunbee. Staff are lovely and helpful; rooms are clean and well-sized; very handy to have a free washer and dryer to use; and in a location great for both transport and exploring by foot. Didn’t try the restaurant so don’t know what that’s like. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Big rooms, comfortable beds & helpful staff. Located near the shops, restaurants & attractions of Insadong. Nearby also are supermarkets. Drawbacks are the limited variety of breakfast options & the lack of shower curtains in the bathroom. But over-all, I would give go back & stay again. Value for money
