After spending weeks travelling, this hotel was a welcome site. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. The king-sized bed and huge tub made it a great place to relax. Even the little things like allowing me to do a small...More
Hotel Sunbee can be reached by Bus 6011 from Incheon Airport. Stop at Anguk Station and turn into the Insagdong-gil main road and look out for 7-gil.
The hotel is decent, not luxurious. Continental Breakfast menu remains the same throughout our 5 nights stay.
Had a great stay at the Sunbee. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke enough English. Our room was large and comfortable, and extremely quiet. The location -- just steps from the center of Insadong's main street -- was ideal: close to shopping,...More
Very friendly and helpful staff, that speaks English. My room came with breakfast, which was a reasonable breakfast, and if you are looking for a Western type of breakfast, this place has one, although simple. Rooms were large and clean, but showing their age. Beds...More
Small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff on a quiet street in Insa-dong. Very affordable and only a block to great shopping and wonderful food! Close enough to walk to the Avenue of Youth, several Palaces and a Temple or to catch the subway...More

Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops
inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.

The hotel has Korean style rooms which typically include a full or queen size bed with extra bedding/cushions to make sleeping spaces on the wooden floor - should be enough for your group size. There are plenty of restaurants and stores right around the block (Insadong area). We booked the room via Chase Ultimate Reward Program, roughly around $100/night. Gyeongbokgung (royal palace) is 10-15 minutes walk away.
