The hotel was super super clean. We did not find one spec of dust anywhere!! Very clean. The location was super nice. We did not have to pay that much for the hotel which made out experience even more amazing.!

Stayed here for 5 nights on a work trip with a group. The hotel is in a good location in Gangnam with easy access to the metro line (only a 3 minute walk). The surrounding streets are full of coffee shops (like most of Seoul) and a variety of restaurants. There is also a convenience store right outside the front... More

Stayed here 1 night, arranged by tour group. Did not have chance to see the surrounding but room & corridor itself is very much like Japanese apartments. Hotel reception & coffee house (breakfast) area is really tight when it's crowded. We had a twin room. Though its very compact, it comes well-equipped and there is floor heating as well. Room... We had a great time staying at Seoul Residence - not only this is far more affordable than hotels - but also because service is reasonable, rooms are like small apartments, and location was very convenient to us. We had meetings in COEX - either we can take a train - just one stop down from Sellong station is Samsung... More

First took the taxi from Seoul Station and he couldn't find it by his GPS))) It showed the wrong sidestreet so tried to find this residence just in adjacent lane during 10 minutes. There is no sign and nobody knows it when you ask)) But it's really close to Seolleung Station just go down to the main street Teheran-ro and... More

So it's not an actual hotel, so don't expect that level of service. It has adequate house keeping, including toilet paper and the rooms are kept clean. The air conditioning filters are indeed dusty. But keep in mind this is a place where people usually stay for longer terms. The beds are firm, mostly because they seem to be the... More

This is the worst hotel that I visited in seoul. in My previous vists i stayed in diffrent hotels with kitchen like vabien but seoul residence is worst hotel. Do not go there. You have very better/good service residence is there near yekosam station that is Dormy Inn service residence. Do not opt for this hotel at all.

One week stay with my mom & daughter. So convenient, the train station is just round the corner. There are so many cafes, shops, laundrette and mini supermarket is in the building. Taxi fare around 7000 Won to Itaewon for Halal food - off peak period...like in the evening. It is like your own home with kitchenette and washing machine.... More

I had a very unpleasant experience with the staff at this hotel. Pros: -Convenient location (close to subway station and downtown areas) -Close to convenience store and pharmacy Cons: -Poor service and rude staff! I had to argue with the front desk to get more toilet paper. It was ridiculous -Narrow one-way driveway (taxis can't drive in with heavy luggage)... More

We literally had to beg for the most basic of amenities--to fix the leak in the shower, to receive an extra pillow or an extra pair of room slippers. The manager especially was NOT accommodating and rude most of the time. He wouldn't even take the time to answer simple questions (the question, "are there any hospitals in the area?"... More
