We booked the 3 bedroom suite on the website http://www.worldhotel.co.kr/ For what we paid, I would give Vabien I a thumbs up. I do not think I can find another spacious apartment as such to accommodate my family of 5 for that price in Seoul. I disagree about the furniture being dated, I think it's just the design. i recently stayed at vabien 1 with my family. The main reason i chose this hotel was because of the price and the fact that it was a serviced apartment. The hotel was reasonably priced and the location is quite central. City hall is within walking distance and there is a metro located just a few minutes walk away from...

I stayed at Vabien 1 for six months while working in Korea. Excellent staff, good location (close to the subway) good food and nice amenities make this a good place to stay. The addition of Vabien 2, which is steps away has nicely increased the selection of Western restaurants. There are lots of Korean restaurants, a supermarket and even a...

We stayed at the Vabien 1 from May 10 - 23. We went to Seoul for our son's wedding. The location of the Vabien 1 was excellent. The bus will bring you to and from the airport for only $8,000 Korean Won. Stops about 1/2 block from the front door. It was close to the Anglican Church where the wedding...

Neighbourhood Profile
Walk within this area, centered on what used to be the western gate of traditional Seoul, and you'll get a glimpse of Korea’s past through the beautiful and historic buildings that are scattered throughout. Whether wandering around Deoksugung’s palace walls or touring more historically somber sites such as Seodaemun Prison, this is one of the best places for culture, architecture, and history lovers. Jeongdong in particular is a beautiful place for a stroll in spring and autumn.
