Nice hotel. Nice breakfast. Nice service. But the location is not good. We stayed 3 nights on a business trip. 30 minutes' drive takes us to the hotel from downtown. If heavy traffic is expected, you should avoid using a taxi or a bus. Apart from this, this hotel is almost perfect. If you pay 1000 won, you can use WiFi service in the hotel. Within 5 minutes' walk you can get to the Emart, which is a supermarket like Aeon(Jusco) in Japan. So you don't have worry about buying gifts to your friends in your country. You can buy everything there including good kimchi. They sell a wide variety of kimchi. You are surely satisfied with items there. Some guide books recommend that you go and buy some gifts at Lotte Mart behind the Seoul Station. It's NG. They sell much more expensively than Emart. You should check Emart.
Do I want to stay there again? Yes as long as the price per person is less 30000 won.

This is a hotel, the level of which is somewhat equivalent to Marriott Residence or Hyatt Place, etc. - it's almost there, but not quite the international level, which is expected as Korea is not known for being the tourist destination (except for other Asians). My room was clean and the BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC (with various food selections and on-site omelet cooking). The facilities are in decent shape. I liked the free two bottles of water, but didn't like their charging for shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste (although not too expensive, it all adds up!) Also, they shouldn't charge for the wireless internet access - this was a real downer for a business hotel. The staff was very attentive and quick in their responses, which I find the true strength in Korea. The location is certainly not central, but given the distances in Seoul, it's really not a bad location with access to buses and subway - you just have to use the concierge actively to know the bus and subway schedules and routes.
Overall, I regret I can't give the #4 rating - you can do it, KMHK hotel!

Service is very good, but not all staff members are fluent in English, so guests must be patient. Be warned that the hotel is very far from the center of Seoul. Although there is a free shuttle service, which is very helpful and always prompt, most areas of interest in central Seoul are still very far from the station where the shuttle drops guests off. Make sure you know exactly where the shuttle will pick you up as it is rather difficult to find.
Also, the usual items that come free for most hotels are not free here. Guests will have to pay extra for breakfast (fantastic buffet selections) and wifi access. But all in all, we were happy to be booked in this hotel.

I chose this hotel based on location and price on a discount site. What shocked me was the cost of anything here. A cup of Americans coffee is $9 and the breakfast buffet is $26. The coffee shop offers no food and the buffet is the only option. Web is $10 a day, but it is noon to noon everyday, so not a real 24 hours unless it matches your schedule. The room service menu is very high too with a simple club sandwich for $19. This hotel is clueless to the fact that people will return based on value. I was in 15 nations last year and travel regularly. Exorbitant gouging prices make me never want to return.

Rooms are basically clean but they are really old, giving them a slightly dingy look. Paint peeling off the furnishings, mysterious dark spots on the carpets, calcified goo on the soap dish...that sort of thing. But critical things, like bed sheets and towels, are clean.

I can't imagine why anybody would want to stay here unless they were going to a meeting on-site, which was why I stayed.

It's in the middle of nowhere so don't stay if you plan seeing a lot of sights in Seoul...you'll waste vast amounts of time on transportation. Service is a bit weak, but they try.

Pack a mosquito net! I lost a lot of sleep hunting mosquitos every night. They come out to feed around 2-3am, so don't bother hunting them down until then.

This hotel was old but clean.
The carpet on our room was gorgeous, it made me feel like I'm staying at high-class hotel.
There're people who can speak English and Japanese.
There're Costco and a big shopping mall near the hotel. You can access those place like 5min on foot.

I have read the South Korea has the fastest internet in the world, but the bandwidth of this place is like from the 90s - it's completely useless all around the hotel. The rooms have a feel like an American highway motel. There's something seriously wrong with the hotel management - they should really get serious about managing this place.

This place is close to Gangnam (by car). The hotel is old but they had renovated it well and the rooms are neat and cozy. The room with City view is cool. I like the fact that the hotel is not so crowded and the price is not bad as well. The quality is satisfactory when considering the price. But of course it's not a 5 star hotel. Don't expect too much.

The facilities are not even at 3 star level. But the main problem is the hotel's distance from the city. It's not in the Seoul city, it's expensive and time consuming to go to the city and if you are a tourist and want to see attractions of the city, you have to go out of hotel in the morning and come back at night without any rest, because it's very far from city.

This is my 1st time staying here and after long flight from jakarta and I have arrived early at the hotel at 11am but we are not able to check in after 1pm since I am told room is full and i need to return at 3pm. This is a quite dissapointing because we are very tired and have meeting appointment on that day and we just want to fresh up at the toilet. When we ask if we can fresh up at the gym and we have to pay 7500 won. Very calculative and not service oriented. The room is standard and clean and no complaint as i am attending for business conference only but i wish it could have been better.
