Stay away. Do not stay in this hotel. Their review online are not reliable, they don’t allow refund, don’t speak English, allows dogs, mouldy everywhere especially the toilet. Aircon in room is super noisy, worst than village love motel. Please see my photos, if you can accept these then book your stay.
Booked this hotel through Hotels.com for a week touchdown in Seoul before going on a beachvacation. We chose Ramada for petfiendlyness easy access to the city and hopefully chill and not so uptight and swanky. Well nobody speaks English... and we have not gotten any clening of our room since we arrived 3 days ago. We asked them about the cleaning today but it seem the maid only work in the mornings.... So the room is not very clean. The staff cannot communicate in English. The toilet broke down and we were told not to use it so much(?). Each interaction with the staff is comical. A hotel should have staff that can talk English and know international manners. Its a minimum. We are staying in room 1311 at the moment. (The room is noisy). Eventhough we ve booked and prepaid for our small dog, the staff seem astonished that we have a dog (which we checked in). We will not return here on our way back in late July. We ll opt for the swankier hotels bc they at least talk a bit more English. Ramada this is embarrassing!…
Good mid-range hotel, just don't do the breakfast. Very expensive and not worth the price, even with the coupon they give you. There seemed to be lots of alternatives nearby. Wish we would've checked before eating there.
Stayed here on my most recent trip to Seoul! Very clean and in a good location ! There was 3 of us travelling, so it was nice because we could get a room with 3 single beds ! There was lots of space in the room as well for having 3 people in the room. Would recommend this hotel :)
Fantastic room, fantastic laundry service, first class employees. Elevator music is western culture though. Don't expect Korean music. Service is geared toward western tourist and since I don't look Korean very much, I had a hard time having front desk people speaking Korean to me. But that's just me.
We needed to stay near Seoul Station and so we chose this as it reportedly had larger than average rooms in Seoul. Room was not huge but it was enough. Bathroom was clean and sizeable enough however the shower could only be fixed in one position turning the place into your own private pool. It was also a little noisy but overall it did the job we needed. Probably would not revisit as we would stay elsewhere in Seoul next time but I felt we got good value for money.
Upon arrival the front desk slipped us a piece of paper stating that our stay may be interrupted by the owners of our rooms "putting a sticker on the door". What that means is due to an ongoing legal dispute, many of the rooms have been sealed (literally, with tape) and affixed with a sticker saying that the room is no longer legally allowed to be a hotel room. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, and the A/C was a bit of a hit or miss proposition. When I reached out to Ramada to let them know about the conditions here, they responded with a message that they couldn't help as I booked through an online service. Stay Away!
I had an excellent experience while staying at this hotel. The customer service was excellent from the lobby/desk staff to the actual room service staff. The room I stayed in was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The location for me personally was fantastic, busy during the day quiet at night. Down town Seoul 10-15 minute walk away. Coffee shops, restaurants, AM/PM shops immediately outside the lobby doors. I will certainly stay at this location again. Only minor problem I experienced was trying to catch a taxi outside at the taxi stand, it never actually happened, driver would look over and keep on driving.
This hotel is in a legal battle and states that they sent an email but there is no such thing! My friend also booked a reservation 1 month prior and did not receive an email. They are turning away customers. I had to pay an extra $160.00 AND reserve a subpar hotel at the last minute!
I never give bad reviews but this everyone must know be careful booking this hotel they could cancel very late and start making excuses just because someone else is paying more late.. I have never experienced this am just so happy for Internet I had to buy £50 for another hotel because they said my credit card not working 4 hours before my arrival.. Am on the plane let me arrive Omg what a nightmare... Am so 😡
