It's quite uncommon, specially in Egypt, to find hotels in which the "private" space, i.e. rooms, is better kept than the common areas, i.e. halls, restaurant bars etc... This is the case: the entrance looks poor and you have to rise to the 5th floor by elevator to find the hotel, but house keepers, waiters and all the staff are...

Central location to all activities in our itenerary. Walk to dining and to museum. Great views from balconey. Hotel staff overly friendly and very pushy towards using a guide they they knew. With that said great price and good location just go having your own plans.

City View was perfect for our 3 day stay in Cairo...everyone who worked there was so helpful and helped us navigate getting around the city when a cab was needed. They would write our destinations in Arabic when needed. Perfect location and so easy to get everywhere - right across from Egyptian Museum. Hotel was small but clean, had internet...
