Detailed Reviews
I still rate this hotel as a very good one, just like during my lrevious stay here, but I must report that certain things need urgent improvement. Small things, while added together leave a bitter taste, even though the general status of the hotel is a good one.
Here are the things which were not pleasant, and where the hotel management should act upon:
1) my colleague had room 225 ( a nice suite), which was located on top of a very noisy restaurant downstairs. The music was very loud, and even though he called the reception at midnight and asked them to do something about ut, nothing happened until 2:30 in the night; a hotel should not be a nightclub! Visitors who want to sleep at night, should avoid that hotel wing!
2) my room (438) was the other half of a suite; my neighbors from 439 were amoking heavily every evening after 10 pm, and a lit of cigarette smoke was coming into my room; I had to open the windows and get “fresh” air from outside! The hotel should have a clear policy on smoking abd non-smoking rooms, and ask guestsbwhat they prefer when they chech-in.
3) in one of the elevators, there was an ad inviting guests to have dinner in the Filini restaurant, with a 20% discount when dining between 6 and 7 pm; We dis this, but the restaurant personnel denied us the 20% advertised discount; We mentioned the ad, then we paid in full; We webt to the reception and menrioned the matter, and the clerck there told us that this diacount applies only for Filini restaurant (he thought we were at the lobby bar); We told him that we were dining at Filini, then he changed the answer and said that the offer is no longer valid. In my opinion, if it is writen and advertised somewhere inside the hotel, it should be respected by the hotel personnel!
4) also at Filini, even though the food was very good and came fast, the prices in the menu are misleading. Additional to the prices listed jn the menu, on the bill you get a 12% service fer, and then VAT on top of the aggregated prices. In the ens, the price you pay is about 30% higher then what is listed in the menu. And, please don’t tell me Inshould have read the small text at the bittom of the page (in Arabic)! At a Radisson this should not be the case, no matter the geography and local culture!
Other than that, the hotel is good, very closely located to the airport, with people who try to help as much as they xan (and they can better for a tip).

My company had a meeting last week in Radisson Blu Cairo Heliopolis in Cairo Meeting room and we had a very good experience with the hotel. The team is very helpful and their response to our requests was outstanding. I'd like to thank each and every one of them especially Hossam Tarek and his team.
We also have booked accommodation rooms for the attendees from outside Cairo and the feedback we got was that the rooms are clean and comfortable.
I'd like to thank Mohamed Sabry for solving any issues we faced on the spot.
Looking forward to our next meeting in Radisson Blu.

Especially in the time of Covid seeing other people’s crumbs and nut pieces on the floor is not what you want to be seeing in a hotel room. It makes you wonder what else they didn’t clean.
I just ordered room service and it was delivered to my room. I walked barefoot to the table where it was and felt something underfoot, I looked down and saw pieces of food and nuts and a cocktail stick.
I rang and spoke to the manager and I was informed that I would be given a new room shortly. I informed the room service staff that I didn’t want the food then as I was transferring room so could they please take it to keep it warm and deliver it to my new room once I had been moved. The room service staff were very rude and unhelpful and informed me that it was not their business that I was changing room and couldn’t bring the food later. At this point I just asked them to take it away as what was meant to be a relaxing stay was far from it.
After a while no one had been to the room so I phoned and asked to speak to the manager. He informed me that I would be moved in less that 7 minutes. Half an hour later I still hadn’t been moved.
I rang again and was told that management was coming to my room. They came and moved me to another room, the floor is not totally clean and there are still items under the sofa that haven’t been hovered up but at least there is no food under foot.
All in all a very disappointing stay on what should’ve been the relaxing first night of my holiday.

I have been in a room with mold stain on a ceiling (I guess it was access to air conditioning). Pain from the ceiling was missing next to the only window. Noise from the street on 8th floor was terrible from the traffic in the street (although I asked for quite room and paid extra at Radisson reservation system to have upper floor (quite ) room. Stains in bathroom, shower poorly working, dirty carpet, sitting area so outdated and dirty that it forced me to use a wooden desk to sit on it. I assumed that I have cleaned it enough to sit on it. Drawer in a working desk opening by itself and not being able to close. Breakfast with small variety and low quality. Again, I have skipped a lot of things there finding them dirty. Only thing that works to some extend is airport shuttle if you organise a car to pick you and some of the stuff is polite. Excluding cleaning lady at the 8th floor who asked me every day in a corridor am I leaving?! And all of this for standard Radisson prices that you see in other hotels as well. Because of all, I advise avoiding this hotel. My only surprise is Radisson who keeps hotel under the brand but again, they have not recognized stay as eligible stay although mentioned as such in the reservation system. Hotel manager will state how sorry he feels (with phrases that they are improving, that he will talk to stuff) but again I advise avoiding this by any cost.

Was expecting a higher standard of maintenance and cleanliness given its name. The rooms are good in size but could use some cleanliness. The toiletries were arranged nicely on the sink but when I went in the shower found some of them to be empty and the rest seemed used by the previous occupant. WiFi was good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner has a good variety. The restaurant staff is eager to clear off the plates from the tables. But overall the staff is courteous. Had also booked a Giza tour from the front desk and was expecting a honest answer when it comes to the total expense for the sight seeing etc. However they don't tell you about the hagglers and tip culture in Egypt. It also depends on the taxi driver sent from the front desk. I had heard about it from other tourists but now experienced it as well. Disappointed.

No aircon (cost cutting) and it's 35 degrees outside.
No hot WATER ( cost cutting).
Food (Sahour) last meal as we are fasting is terrible.
The cost per room is over $100 Australian dollars 😱
I am so disappointed with the hotel and I found other customers with the same views.
So I don't recommend this hotel for anyone or ask if the aircon, hot water system ans all services are available before you book

I stayed at this property 8 times since the start of the year. This visit was the worst. Bad Room with disgusting smell. I asked to change it after 10 mins. The Reception always use to tell you that they will give you a good room but that isn't always honest words.
The Breakfast is poor! Not all items are fresh. The bread used look like were baked 2 or 3 days before.
The Parking officer isn’t welcoming you at all. He left his place and I had to stay waiting for him to get out.
Upon check out, there was a foreign couple checking out just before me. The receptionist received the keys and thanked them and that’s it. When it was my turn He asked me to wait for minutes so that they can check my room. In a room with no mini bar!
I found this action completely RACIST and INAPPROPRIATE.
I asked the receptionist to send me an email to send my feedback and they told my that such an enquiry can’t be done through them.

I stayed there too many times over the past decade, but this time, I stayed for 2 successive months in May and June and was experiencing a great professionalism from everybody to the extent that I never felt the odd feeling of staying in just a room away from home and noticing a flourished state all over the hotel. I got accustomed to them all and most of the rooms have been freshly renovated. It was a great daily breakfast buffet, quite professional receptionists, quite professional housekeeping staff and the head Mr. Isaac, and great staff at the lobby bar, the buffet, the health club, and the swimming pool. Most of the time, there were large groups of foreign guests indicating the flourished state of the hotel. Only one area of improvement is to abolish the parking fees for the guests.

Starting with check-in, I queued up for around 5 minutes to find when being served since I had a reseveration with Booking.com I had to go to someone else. Check-in from this stage took 24 minutes for something I had already reserved and paid for. The attendant kept checking his phone and cracking jokes with colleagues rather than actually serve me. Finally once done, I was told one of the two rooms I had booked was not ready and someone would be sent up with the key to the other room, however this never arrived and I had to go back down and get it. I had asked for connecting rooms on the reservation but not actually given them until I went upstairs to see the adjacent room was being cleaned and hence free and again had to ask for that room specifically.
The room itself was OK, comfy beds with decent furniture although the fridges in both rooms were not cold. There is free wifi, but you can hear the road noise within the rooms so be wary of that. The bathrooms are small, and in one of the rooms the rub was cracked and some mould around.
An average hotel where staff need training so I'd only recommend this if you need to be close to the airport, otherwise there are better hotels. Also they tied to charge me 175 USD for 5 of us to be picked up by their shuttle from the aiport and returned (it's literally 15 drive away) - absolute rip off (you can do this for around 20 USD in a private vehicle or even cheaper with a local taxi)

Don't know the shuttle cost but the distance between Radisson blue & Cairo airport is just 4 kilometers & takes 10 minutes so i think if you used uber it would be much cheaper & you would find uber cars available 24 hours around Cairo.
no extra charge for two kids if using existing beds, free baby cot, but they charge for extra bed if requested.
Yes but it is not free
