I've stayed here twice now. First with friends and then alone for a few days just recently (January 2016). Location is perfect. Staff are friendly and hospitable. It's more like a guest house than a hotel and I felt very relaxed and comfortable there. Nabil knows Egypt inside out and will make sure that you don't miss an opportunity to...

We actually stayed in 4 places in Cairo, and I liked this one the best. It is a nice, family owned place that is simple and clean on the top floor very near the Egypt Museum and Midan Tahrir. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable enough. The breakfast is simple but good. It is a...

Mr Nabil, the owner is one of those who really care about his guests. He arranged everything- from airport pick up, to day trips ( choosing excellent guides and drivers). The place is in the top floor of a Cairo building, just behind the police barricade which offers extra security. The staff, Majeed and Hussein were also extra attentive and...

Great: - Breakfast with a Cairo view - the omelet is made for you when you sit down. - The two dogs greeting us when leaving the elevator are the friendliest and happiest animals we saw in Cairo. It means a lot to us because it shows that it's good owners who chose to keep his animals in the hostel...

Incredibly satisfied with my stay at Osiris Hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily, the breakfast had great variation, the rooms were quiet for being in such a central position of the city. The staff organized good tours (only tried the one to the pyramids) and were ready to answer any questions (as good as they could, quite limited english). The...

This a great budget hotel with central location in Cairo. Metro and bus stations nearby. Even though centric the hotel is not noisy (located on a 12th floor). The hotel is well kept but the building lobby on the first and elevator need serious uplifting. Unfortunately, this might not be up to the hotel's owner! The hotel rooms are basic...

The hotel was good, also the breakfast. It's quiet on that high floor which is really very important. Because there are low budget hotels in Cairo in which you won't sleep before 2 A.M. because of the tumult in the streets. The 2 men who run this hostel are very nice, friendly and helpful. The only improvement I think they...

I stayed at Osiris hotel for 9 nights. I had some business to do in Egypt and needed to keep costs down. I chose well! It is billed as a French hotel but Naqib and his brother Magde speak excellent English. Do not be put off by the dark and gloomy entrance to the commercial building where the hotel is...

My partner and I stayed here in early January 2015. We arrived late at night and due to the security at the end of the road it was a little difficult to locate the hotel. Once we did locate the hotel we were very happy to be inside. We liked that it is located on a higher floor, out above...

There are plenty of 5-star hotel options in Cairo but review of budget hotels are mixed on TA. After reviewing several options carefully, we decided to go wth Osiris Hotel and we are pleased with our choice. Here are the reasons why you should choose Osiris: 1. Room: clean and comfortable room; 2. View of Cairo skyline: you can enjoy...
