After our arrival, the friendly man from the hostel gave us advice about our trip. Because of our short stay, he recommanded a driver for us. For 25 euro the driver stayed with us all day and drove us around cairo. It was perfect. Also you do not have to deal with all the salespeople who can be a hassle...

some people write bad reviews just because obviously they don't have any travel experience. Sara Inn is located 5 minutes away from the Egyptian museum. Can't say it's easy to find if you don't know Cairo, but they even offer free airport pickup. We arrived at 04:00 by bus from Sharm El Sheikh and they couldn't be nicer. Other places...

* The management respond quickly and clearly to all emails. *The rooms are a little worse for wear than the internet pictures suggest, but fine. *DO NOT use ANY of their services: - Taxis 1. Our booked taxi failed to show up. We had a hell of a time waiting at the airport, making announcements over the PA system and...

Stayed at the Sara Inn for two night last weekend, the staff were very friendly and helpful the room I booked was very clean for Egyptian standards, but bathroom was only partioned off part of the room. Air conditioner was wonderful at 43c degrees. The absolute worst thing though was the very very old sagging bed could hardly sleep on...

We stayed at Sara Inn for 2 nights and then went to Luxor, returning to Sara Inn for one night before catching a plane the next morning. The hotel is on the 6th and 7th floors of a building on a fairly quiet street. Their airport pickup was great, and our room was large with an ensuite bathroom. There was...

We are a mid-40s couple from Canada and this was our first hostel experience anywhere. We would do it again without hesitation. This is a great location - near two busy streets for taxi hailing, several great restaurants, a market with all you need for groceries, the Egyptian Museum and metro station. We could walk to most anything in minutes....

We had a pretty nice room here... which is how it should be since we took their room in the most expensive price bracket. We paid 160 Egyptian pounds a night which was US$29. Although when we shopped around, we learned that this was good value. The main things we were going for was air-con (we were in Cairo in...

We stayed here for 4 nights only because we were on a very tight schedule and couldn't find the time to change to another hostel. The Good -The room is fairly quiet as there are few guests staying here and most of the noise occurs when the owner and staff are praying directly outside your door The Bad -You will...

The Sara Inn Hostel was exactly what you see on their website. I have to admit, I was a bit unsure of our decision to stay in a "Hostel". I was traveling to meet my brother and his wife, who are stationed in Uganda with the Peace Corps. Any facility with running, hot water is more than what they are...

The shower are correct, it's not 5 stars but it's ok. The breakfast could be better. People who work at Sarar Inn are so nice,...

“A room with shower inside is the best option and was A$25 for a double, including light breakfast...great value I thought. There are two floors of rooms and you have a choice.”

“ask for the free pickup at the airport if you stay minimum two nights. This is a KEY service when you arrive late at night. I do not know any other hostel providing this service. Very close to the Sara Inn you can find a take out and a restaurant (very good and cheap) at KAZA'S in Ksar el nil (two blocks away) Highly recommended.”
