This is a lovely hotel. The entrance lobby is beautiful with high ceilings and long polished hallways leading out to the dining rooms and pool. Room was clean and spacious. We were there in January and were very happy to have heat in our room and hot showers after a chilly day of traipsing around the pyramids. Food was good,...

This is a lovely hotel, great old world style with plenty of room. The breakfast was okay, there were sometimes not enough knives and forks to go around (slow to turn over the tables) so head there early if you need to get away in a hurry. The hotel is slightly dated but lovely. The WiFi was rubbish, so pick...

Stayed at this hotel for one night before catching a flight to Luxor. Location is far from being perfect, although the amenities could be quite OK. Bed sheets were worn out, there were no glasses in the room, heating from the air-conditioner was hardly sufficient. Surprisingly, the buffet dinner in the restaurant was perfect. Despite low number of guests, the...

I gave it an average review, but with a few tweaks it could easily earn a very good review. This is a huge complex sprawled out over a wide area. It seems that back in it's hay-day this might had been an opulent hotel, but now maintenance has suffered upon it's upkeep in a few areas. There are a lot...
