We stayed at this hotel for a 3 night stay as part of a two centre break in March 2008. The hotel is near to the pyramids and an excellent base for this attraction. Beware of the traffic in Cairo it's herendous and jams were ever you go. The transfer to the hotel took approx an hour. The hotel took... More

This hotel was chosen for us by our tour company (Go Tour Egypt). We enjoyed our stay there very much, and treated the hotel as an escape from the noise and bustle of Cairo. The grounds are well-kept and our room was clean, if a little worn. We liked watching Arabic TV stations through the satellite TV (and noting what... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package by Adventure World. Our Egyptian tour guide handled the communication with front staff for us so had no dealings with them. For what we paid for the room, we were pleased with what we got. The grounds of the hotel were very tidy. The pool staff are the most friendless... More

We booked this hotel as part of a tour package to Egypt. The rooms were a bit on the worn side but fully comforatble for three people to share the two double beds. It was somewhat of a tight fit but a cot for a 3rd person still gave enough room to walk around freely. The bathrooms were large and... More

The Oasis Hotel in Giza on the outskirts of Cairo is a good hotel with friendly hotel staff. I stayed at this hotel on half board basis from 10th until 13th February 2008 for 3 nights. The staff were helpful and the hotel clean. The buffet restaurant breakfast and dinner was very good. The city of Cairo was probably the... More

The Oasis in Cairo is just that - a true Oasis amidst the Cairo Traffic. The road outside the hotel is the main route for traffic from Alexandria to Cairo and therefore the equivilant to the M25 in the UK. Althought the traffic cannot be heard at all from the hotel getting anywhere is a nightmare. It took us an... More

The hotel was actually lovely. The grounds were well kept and food and pool very nice. The only bad points were that there are no restaurants within walking distance so budget for alot of taxi's. My trip was ruined when i had a massage in their spa and after 10 minutes, one of the men who worked there walked in... More

Hotel is OK. Lots of rooms scattered around the grounds. Nice and quiet. The main point of writing this review is to tell people whilst the hotel is OK in itself I would never recommend it - more tell people to steer clear. If you have your own, guaranteed transport it's fine. If you're happy to use their free bus... More
