I wanted a hotel close to the pyramids and you really can't get much closer than Le Meridien. What surprised me was just how comfortable the rooms were. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and the bed linen was crisp atop very comfortable beds. The view however is amazing. You can lounge at the pool after a day...

I stayed three nights here. As someone who travels approximately 100 nights a year, I wouldn't say it met my expectations as a five-star luxury hotel. The good things about my stay: - The service was great -- everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I was constantly addressed by "Mr. So-and-So" everywhere I went in the hotel. - The public...

We visited for a family wedding. Pretty nice hotel, really nice foyer/bar area with comfortable seating area. The food is also pretty good if you don't want to go out. We would stay here again. Good security and location also.

I stayed here with a friend in the interim period of the troubles and it was peaceful, welcoming and thoroughly enjoyable. The only difficulty is that it is a little way out of Cairo as it is technically in Giza, located almost next to the Pyramids. The food and rooms were exquisite. Excellently presented, clean and with lots of choice....

We visited for our silver wedding anniversary and were given an immediate upgrade to a pyramid view room. We spent many evenings just watching the light show on the pyramids and counting the camels back to the stables. Its on an extremely busy main road, but laid back a very long way. Fabulous flamingos in the front. Security on the...

I am currently in Cairo in December 2013 and will spend New Years Day here. The hotel is clean, staff is very responsive, and the rooms were excellent and luxurious.
