Plus: Excellent bed. Professional, helpful and kind staff. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool and balcony in the room with Nile view. Everyone is doing his best: concierge, reception, pool, bars, desk staff ... Minus: the carpet in the room had old stain marks. One can feel it used to be a palace. Now is a nice old fashion hotel.

Stayed at this wonderful old palace in Luxor on a short stay. Staff very helpful and the gardens were well kept and lovely. A very pretty setting. A really old hotel with high ceilings and stage rooms and a lot of history to see and read about. Unique experience as far as hotels go as how often do you get...

This hotel is full of old-fashioned charm and history. If you're looking for modern, this isn't it, but if you would like a step back in time, you're in the right place. The service is fantastic. Mohamed Ahmed at reception took great care of us, always with great professionalism and a smile. The rooms are large and comfortable, with high...

This is a old palace, it's wonderful to live in that building and feel the history, wonder around the antiquities. When I first arrive, stuff welcomed me very nicely, (especially amazingly nice lady and very kind attitude Vesam Farrah) they upgrade my room to huge one, facing to garden. I believe garden view is more interesting than Nile view with...

I dropped into this hotel on the off chance of getting afternoon tea & was delighted with the whole experience. The staff were charming & helpful & I had the Victorian Lounge to myself, so I drank tea in solitary splendour. The savoury & sweet treats were delicious & filling. My choice of Earl Grey tea was hot & refreshing....

This hotel has charm and character. If you are looking for glitz and marble this is not it, instead the charm comes from the fact the hotel is slightly faded and a little bit worn, but still beautiful. Gardens are wonderful, pool area stunning and the hotel staff can't do enough to make your stay memorable. Amongst them: Mohammed Saad...

A great Victorian hotel built in 1886,loved the high ceilings with beautiful chandlers and draperies, The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, the staff especially Mohamed the desk clerk. A bathroom issue was solved by a room change. The huge gardens in the fear of the hotel was amazing

The hotel is an actual palace so the location, gardens, & rooms are all super. I guess due to tourism slow down, the hotel is abit worn down and needs good maintenance. Breakfast was fine, dinner was great :)

This hotel is literally a Palace converted into a hotel. The gardens are also very cool. You feel like you're in a European palace, not in a hotel in Luxor. It has another hotel attached in the back, which is also part of the same chain, but cheaper, so both hotels share the gardens. Also good but not as luxurious....
