Excellent stay on a budget. Particularly clean. Staff are friendly. Good location for its price. Safe. Very relaxing. Comfortable beds. Not just a budget hotel, has lots of character. Highly recommended.

Hotel is just 7 minutes from train station by walking and on very good location inside a smaller and quieter street. To the centre and Luxor temple it is also just 10 minutes by walking so taxi is not needed. Our room was clean what I really appreciate it mostly because in Egypt it is not so usual how we could think about it. Service nad staff was very nice, especially manager which help us with anything we needed. On the other hand breakfast could be better (2 triangle cheese, breadrolls, one boiled egg, marmelade), maybe some vegetable would be nice. On the way back from Aswan we had flight from Luxor to Cairo and we spent in the hotel one additional night. I asked one man at the reception which I saw first time about taxi to the airport and he said it is 80 EGP. I decided to take taxi in the morning because usual price is 40 - 50 to the airport (just 6 kilometers). Price in this case is not big deal but the principle is and a way how he talked with us. He tried to scare me that to find a taxi in the morning is very hard and we could miss our plane. I have been stressed because of him and I couldn'd sleep well so I checked some info from the web and I found out that taxis are not a problem on the main road to the train station. Morning to the train station there are many taxis and we caught one immediately once we came to the main road.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The room and the bathroom were clean and every accesory was working fine (Tv, Wifi, plugs, water,..). Manager of the hotel was very helpful and flexible for all of our requirements. Stuff was (just for one exception) also ok and helpful. Hotel is located just few minutes walk from the train station and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Luxor temple. The standard of the hotel is definitely worth its price.

ENGLISH FOLLOWS Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Little Garden Hotel. We greatly appreciated our stay at the Little Garden Hotel. We had a big luminous room with two extra beds for our two children giving onto a large balcony for 230 EP per night. Located in a lively neighborhood, the relative tranquility of the area around the hotel was a nice repose from Egypt's often busy and noisy streets. Everything was very clean, the sheets impeccable and the mattresses in top shape. The breakfast is basic, the same as in most hotels (bread, butter, jam, hard boiled egg, tea or coffee). The personnel at the reception desk is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were served a delicious infusion of hibiscus flowers upon our arrival. On top of wifi, two computers were available. The AC in the room was rather noisy, but didn't keep us from sleeping very well. Ideally located, just a 5 minute walk from the train station, 10 minute walk to the Luxor Temple. And comfortable. There was hail (really, hail) as part of heavy rains and that may be why we had Wi-fi troubles.. Would surely go back. it is in a part of the city where tourists are welcome, not constantly hassled.
