The room is simple, decorated in an Egyptian style, clean and nice. It can be really noisy if you want to sleep before 11pm since downstairs the restaurant plays really loud music. But after that, it is quiet. We had a really nice staying there. The breakfast is super nice and with beautiful view, we ended up having dinner every night there because the food was absolutely delicious. Location is just perfect and the staff really nice

Do not book, unless you want to be robbed. BE VERY WARY OF STAYING HERE AS A SOLO FEMALE. I stayed here for two nights in December and on the first night, housekeeping stole money from my backpack. My money was there when I went to sleep, and when I came back later the next day to switch bedrooms (the first night 2/3 rooms in the hotel our group needed had toilet issues), the money in my backpack was gone. I brought this up to the hotel owner, who dismissed my claims and refused to ask his staff about the money, and did not review security footage. I was traveling with an Egyptian tour guide and an American male who also had to share the room that first night, and the American male did not have his money stolen. The hotel staff almost stole my Adidas shoes, too, as they took them from the room and I had to ask for them back. The hotel staff had asked the American male I was with if they were his shoes, but did not ask myself or the Egyptian tour guide. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

This family-owned hotel came recommended by Lonely Planet. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the rooftop restaurant was a lovely respite with views of the Luxor temple. Internet was poor, requiring use of a self-provided hot spot. Breakfast was included in our modest rate and included eggs cooked to order. Bathroom was small but clean, and facilities throughout the property provided tissue without the need for endless tipping.

I always like to stay at local family owned business as they really gets what their city is about! This hotel manages to keep their quality standards over the years. Every time I comeback to luxor I have to stay there and it is still clean, give a lot of attention to details and staff as friendly as they could be (especially Reem and Mohamed). Location is literally in the heart of the city! Can’t ask for a better experience .
