Stayed 5 days here during a business trip. Loved it's proximity to the Village Market which made it easier to shop. Food was good, no complaints there. Rooms were not bad. Staff, friendly and courteous. The overall ambience was perfect for me. Will definitely go back!!!!

In my second stay at the Tribe Hotel in Nairobi (before and after a safari in the Masai Mara), I was again impressed by the location -- immediately adjacent to the Village Market shopping center -- the look and feel of the place (contemporary and stylish with a nice "vibe") and the friendly and customer service-oriented staff. I am a...

I have stayed in Nairobi on business a number of times and at a range of locations over the years. When I discovered the Tribe about five years ago I decided there was no where else I would rather stay in Nairobi. The service is excellent -- genuinely friendly and attentive. It is one of the most visually interesting place...

I was in what I learned was a deluxe room on the 0 level. They made a lovely gesture with chocolates for my birthday. Bar area nice as was the breakfast buffet. A little confusing and idiosyncratic for room access, but the room was overall nice. TV did not work well for a number of stations including CNN. Wifi access...

stayed at the tribe last week july for 6 days. Located in the nicer part of nairobi and in the same compound as village market. Very secured location as well. Rooms maybe slightly small. Good food. The bar on the 4th floor is ideal. Overall service is good. Will def stay again.

Room 040 was great. It was a reverse loft with double beds. Plenty of room for guest. The food was decent. The best for a night cap was the Nest, the Roof top bar.Bring your steamer for your clothes, because they have limited iron & board.

Very beautiful hotel. The staff took great care of us from day one. The room is a little tight, but if I was there for a shorter stay it would be no problem. The clean staff did a great job getting the place tidy every day. Room service was a little limited, but no big deal. Prices were so so...

Once you drive into the premises, your calm down hat kicks in. Afterwards you & your suitcases are scanned before being led into the front...
