Taking the long drive from the heart of Nairobi in Kenya, leaves you with the question "where the hell are we going to in this hinterland land, wading through floor especially after a heavy downpour?" Once you drive into the premises, your calm down hat kicks in. Afterwards you & your suitcases are scanned before being led into the front...

The Tribe is a small, but beautifully appointed hotel. The rooms are small, but comfortable, with all of the expected amenities. The staff is what makes The Tribe exceptional. Always polite, they go out of their way to make sure the you have a good stay.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are nice with a french press and Kenyan ground coffee included. Pool is small, but very relaxing. Breakfast and dinner buffets are good as well. There's a shopping mall next to the hotel so very convenient.

Tribe is amazing. It is a beautiful hotel, well designed and with a friendly staff. It is further away from the center of Nairobi, but it is a good place to relax, eat good food and walk around. It's walking distance from the VIllage market which is a nice place to go shopping.

We splurged for a weekend get-away from our up-country home and were pleasantly surprised. Although our trip was short (one night), the staff went out of their way to make the visit a special one. We got a better rate by calling directly, than was possible by booking on expedia or through a travel agent, plus we were guaranteed a...

Much to be desired. Spent one night, 8th July to 9th July 2015 1) One of our rooms was on the first floor, but there seemed to be a bad odor on that floor for the whole of the time we were there. Wasn't what I would expected from a hotel. Appalled. 2) The sink in one of our rooms...

More like a resort than a hotel with wonderful landscaping and a great maze of pathways around the area. The campus is huge and really inviting for strolls. There is ample parking and the water bodies in the landscapes are really nice.

The hotel is in a fenced area, its totally safe. And there is a close small mall for shopping, restaurants and supermarket. The staff is friendly, calm, but very very slow. The room was amazing I didn’t like the food that much, however, If I go to Nairobi, I'll go there again
