Other than looking a bit tired and in need of some TLC, as a one night stop in Nairobi this hotel was adequate. Our room on the ground floor was quite spacious and had plenty of wardrobe space. The shower over the bath was good –plenty of hot water and good pressure. We were also provided with shampoos, lotions etc....

We had the pleasure of staying at Margarita House for a night with our 18 month-old son and were made to feel so at home by Elizabeth and her staff. Our room was clean and nicely appointed with a crib for our son and extra blankets in case we needed them. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dining...

Our family of five recently stayed at Margarita House a beautiful bed and breakfast in the Karen District of Nairobi. The rooms were very spacious with plenty of room for our three adult children to stay in one room. The area was very safe and the rooms were clean and quiet, our room in particular was very elegant. The grounds...

We booked this House which is highly recommended by LP for our honeymoon travel through Booking.com with a credit card guarantee, and the reservation was confirmed. BUT this morning, when I was dreaming how fantastic the travel would be, I got a email said that all rooms had been sold out, and the reservation was cancelled! Can you believe that?...

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for taking the time to express your candid views about our facility. We would like to take this opportunity to convey our apologies for the unfortunate cancellation and also to offer a brief explanation for the circumstances that necessitated it. I believe that your booking was made via a 3rd party agent a week ago. We...

Owner Elizabeth and her team are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean, wifi fast and the beer cold - what more could you want! I had no trouble with the water - the hotel was full while we were there and we had hot water whenever we needed morning or night.

One of the coolest places to chill out. The environment is so serene I could even read a book while asleep. Excellent services by the impeccable staff. Great place to take family or hold a polite event.

Don't be alarmed if you come into Nairobi in the late evening as you drive along dark, dirt roads. I wish I had been forewarned so I would not have been a bit freaked out. We arrived very late from Los Angeles, it is a 45 minute ride from the airport, so we were really tired and had an early...

This is a wonderful small (16 rooms) hotel in the Karen, just southwest of Nairobi. We stayed three nights following our nine-day safari in the Masai Mara. The entire grounds and hotel are enclosed, gated, and guarded 24/7 for security so you feel completely safe while staying there. The Margarita House is family run and the owner's residence is at...

I stayed in a Master Suite at Margarita House while overnighting in Nairobi during a business trip. The hotel is neat and clean but a few matters require improvements. Shower pressure very low and almost no hot water, so my shower was a luke warm trickle. My dinner was average - heavily salted chicken and fries/chips. I found the furnishing...
