We stayed at Sentrim Boulevard on the first and last nights of our Nomad Masaai Mara and Gorilla Tour. On arrival we were greeted with huge smiles, asked where we were from and how our flights were.
We had a twin room on the ground...More

This is not a luxury hotel, but it's fine for what it is (2stars). I'm just leaving, after spending 2 nights before starting an overland trip and safari. Having read some of the reviews I was slightly worried, but there was no reason to. I...More

Jomo Kenyatta Airport is just 20/30 min from this hotel depending on the time you leave. If your aircraft takes off at 08:00 AM, you probably have to leave the hotel at 06:00 and there is no traffic at that time... It will take less that 20 min to reach the airport.
I advise you not to consider taxi in the street. Do not forget there is a very big issue with security in Kenya and mainly in Nairobi where the situation is worst than in Johannesburgh... Ask the hotel to call an official taxi for you or a "limousine" even if it is 10/15 USD more... Maybe it is the price to pay to avoid very big troubles which could prevent you to catch your flight definitely.
Have a nice trip in Kenya. It is a wonderful country ! Even if the situation in Nairobi is complicated, people are very kind outside the city.
