Stayed at this camp with a group of 18 for 2 nights, and all of us agreed that we were very happy with the accomodations and food. The "tents" are permanent wood-framed structures with canvas walls, and a large bathroom-shower-dressing area with hard walls in the back of each tent. Beautiful setting, with a large outdoor patio for dining or...

I have been coming to Oloshaiki every year since they opened, bringing friends along, and we always love the experience----I’ll be back again with a group next month! This small camp blends beautifully into the surrounding environment along the Talek river, where the friendly staff are ever-present to make sure the stay is a sweet escape into the beauty of...

Our stay at this camp was among the most memorable experiences we've had in the Mara. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious and the food was second to none. The camp is situated right next to the Talek River, is quiet and and has a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service quick and responsive. The game...

As a seasoned safari traveler, I decided to try a different camp in the Mara...WOW WHAT A MISTAKE! Oloshaiki was abysmal, granted it was low season, but that does not excuse the lack of service, terrible food, and a manager that greeted us fresh from his bed. Salad was served before lunch and evening meal, we made up a competition,...

As safari travellers in Kenya for in excess of 20 years it was with great anticipation and, admittedly, some trepidation that we booked a brief stay at Oloshaiki. Let me start by saying that the game drives were fabulous and that Joseph did his level best to ensure great photographic opportunities. The camp itself however was a great disappointment. We...

The service is as good as the location, which is absolutely gorgeous: right by a river in masai mara, with an astounding amount of wildlife. The drivers are local Maasai, which means that they know their land and show it to you proudly. The food is the best I had on a week long safari in many different lodges, the...

Thank you everyone for our fabulous stay at your camp. We enjoyed our Mara trips, the animals, the food, waking up in the morning and hearing monkeys jumping on our tent's roof and the waking up of birds, the fresh air, the relaxing ambiance. We will be back.

As first-time travellers to Kenia, we did not know what to expect from Oloshaiki Camp. Well, we were surprised in many ways. First, travelling to the Masai Mara was perfectly arranged by DM Tours. Our trip from the airstrip Olkiombo to the Camp was also our first game drive. For the first time in our lives we saw lions in...

We booked with the camp directly through contacting the camp owner Kiran on their website. He arranged the flights frpm Nairobi and we transferred money to him which at first we were apprehensive about but the flight confirmations came through very quickly. After a slight hick up with having to be moved to another camp for the first night because...
