Enkewa camp provides the perfect fusion between rustic adventure, privacy, and luxury. The host, José, is welcoming and knowledgable, the guides are top notch, and the food is excellently prepared. The camp is picturesque and isolated enough that you're not caught up in the tourist rush. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I had been in a Safari a few years ago, and it was nothing compared to the experience in Enkewa. The Location was perfect, amazing views to the landscape from the tents, which are right inside the national park, surrounded by a litlle river. The masais watch over the camp during all night, as it is totally into the wild....

A lot of time and research went into choosing the camp we would stay at for our first African safari; once we narrowed it down to the Maasai Mara, the work of poring through TripAdvisor reviews and contacting each individual place began. By the end, Enkewa Mara had taken a clear lead, separating itself from the competitors by providing a...

We booked our trip at Enkewa during August 2015 in hope of seeing the migrations. Not only did we see the migrations, but also the Big 5, Lion and Cheetah cubs, and feeding times for all the animals. Jose and his group of warriors have the Mara at your fingertips, you need only ask and they will do everything possible...

I decided very late to go and visit the Maasai Mara but I was recommended this place by a friend to stay so I gave it a go. Enkewa Camp is maybe not the cheapest option if you would like to visit the Maasai Mara, but it is certainly the best and the most authentic - by a mile. I...

Enkewa is definitely the best option to enjoy the beauty and magic of Masai Mara. The safaris, the staff, the tents, the food....everything is perfect. The safaris are very private because they don't use the common radio channel everyone else uses in Masai Mara. Enkewa's Masai guides track and search for the animals (and they are so good at it!)....

When staying at Enkewa this August with my parents for 3 nights, we did not only see all the Big 5 on our first day and the wildebeest migration crossing Mara river (thanks to our fantastic guides Daniel and José!), but we also had the most private safari experience: there are only five beautiful tents and Marta and José interact...

As newlyweds, we stayed at the Enkewa Bush Camp in early October 2015 for 4 nights. It was honestly one of the best experiences of our lives. We were extremely well looked after, the tents were spectacular, the food was delicious, the staff were the friendliest I'd ever come across. Nothing was too much for them. The enthusiasm and passion...

My husband and I have lived in Kenya for 2 years and our trip to Enkewa was our third trip to the Mara in addition to a number of other safaris throughout Kenya and Tanzania. I wish we had known about Enkewa sooner, because it would have saved me hours researching other camps in the Mara. There is no need...

As a resident in Kenya I get to visit Masai Mara quite often and I can say, without any doubt, that Enkewa is the place to go if you want to enjoy a real safari experience. The camp, localted in a quite and remote area, is amazing and has all the comforts you would expect from a 5* accommodation and...
