Our safari leader booked us into this camp, we had our own cook and food so this review does not pertain to many. We were warned to secure our valuables in a locked case. Our first tent did not have zips that closed so we changed to a new one in the am and checked it carefully before taking it....

A friend and I took up the 3-day package which included accommodation, meals, transport to and from Nairobi and a guided tour. We had a really great time and, for me, this was great value for money. The best part was the game drive in the Mara. We got a very comfortable van and our driver, Paul, was really well-informed...

I stayed in Rhino Tourist Camp because I didn´t read too many bad reviews in tripadvisor and had an awful experience. They only care about the customer when you have to pay (in advance), then they don´t worry about you anymore... They gave us an old and dirty tent with a toilet without seat cover, the shower wansn´t also in...

The Rhino Tourist Camp was ok for the duration of our stay. I'm not sure how much we paid because we bought a package through a safari company. The grounds were clean and they served breakfast and dinner. If you are someone who must eat your daily required meals a day, be sure to be early because it's more of...

This is a camp located near an entrance gate to the reserve. I spent two nights there as part of a tour. The camp is quite good for a budget camp. What feels like budget : shared rooms (for most of them), electricity at certain times of the day (evening until 10pm and mornings until 9am-ish) and nothing fancy to...

The stay was comfortable with good food and hot showers. However electricity is there for only a couple of hours a day so carry a flashlight and plan appropriately to charge your camera and phone. Definitely value for money for a budget accommodation

As mentioned off the bat, it's a budget camp, so we were a bit skeptical. But once we got there the service was amazing. The camp is clean, the staff professional. I would give a five star rating if they broadened their menu a bit. Would definitely recommend

I came to this camp with low expectation because of the mixed reviews below. Now, I would definitely recommend this camp to all budget travelers. I will tell my story with pictures - you should judge whether that's acceptable to your standards. Accommodation: Overall, it's clean enough. There are few mosquitos but net is provided. The hot shower works. The...

Stayed at the Rhino Tourist Camp while on a safari to Masai Mara. The camp is located close to the entrance to Masai Mara Ololaimutia Gate and thus provides a budget accommodation just outside the reserve. The tented accommodation is pretty comfortable and all the basics are provided. The bathrooms are well constructed and comfortable for use. Electricity is available...

If your budget is tight and want to be in the Mara for a night or 2 nights, this is your best choice. The camp is clean, food is basic and staff friendly. After all, much of the time is spend in the park looking for animals. The camp has double rooms, twin rooms and family rooms. It is right...
