We have stayed at Govenors on numerous occasions, the game viewing has never disappointed us, an amazing base for exploring the Mara, unfenced so, frequent animal visitors during the night and day. Tents are lovely, well furnished, massive beds and mains electric, all you need. The food was a concern, there must have been a change of Chef since we...

this was our final camp, we had 3 nights here, the views from our tent were superb, the tent was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly and the baby warthogs in the camp were very entertaining! The game drives were incredible and we would like to thank Sopia our guide who went out of his way to...

We stayed at Governers for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which was amazing. You have the best of both worlds being in a luxury tent, as you get to experience the real safari side of it, but with the luxury of your own bathroom inside the...

The absolute best holiday we have ever had . The camp itself was superb - spacious tents set in such a way that each had a view and privacy was maintained . The main area for breakfast and lunch looked straight out across the savannah affording the chance see elephant impala giraffe and other animals going about their business whilst...

Best safari, best camp, fantastic guides, lovely people, animals everywhere. Leopards, cheetah, lions, rhino, elephants, 150 mammals, 450 types of birds. Ask for Joel, but in truth all guides brilliant. Tents luxurious, food good, 3 safaris per day, even a hot water bottle at night. Beyond expectations.

Let me start by saying that our tour operator gave 4 options for places to stay and Governors was the most expensive. We chose this with the thought of having the best Safari experience. Our tent was clean and in good order. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom worked well although the toilet seat needed a change. There were no...

Governor's main was a tented camp in the Maasai Mara with many native people in staff. The tent was right on the banks of the Mara River. It had a bedroom, full bath and a front porch. They had free internet. All the staff, especially our guide Phillip, and Mercy L. were outstanding and could not do enough for you....

I have traveled to a number of national parks and this one was on my bucket list. I wont go into the details of my safari experience but lets stay that staying at Governors made it the best ever. We stayed in a beautiful tented cottage with a sit out overlooking the mara river where you can spot a great...

Kenya was a lifetime experience for us (couple & 10 yr old child) and Governor's Camp heavily contributed to this magical experience. Right from receiving us at the airstrip, to the check-in, 3 extensive safari drives a day, breakfast/lunch/dinner service, cosy beautiful Camps - everything was impeccable. We took the tents that overlooked the Mara river and had hippos singing...
