Seriously, DON'T stay at Santilun. I stayed there for over a week and the bad conditions NEVER changed. 1. My room was super dusty. I think they have no idea of what a duster is. There was a table full of stuff from former guests. It was so dirty under that table; like they hadn't swept/mopped the floor during a...

We stayed there for more than a week and although we asked 3 times for fresh towels and linen we ended up having to find them and do it ourselves. Room cleaning, zero. Otherwise, good location and not bad value.

We stayed at the hostel a couple of nights and actually planned to stay longer, if it wasn't for the bad staff at the hostel. The staff wasn't cooperative, the rooms were not clean and if people smoked cigarettes in the room nothing was done about this. The Wifi was crap, it was only available in the noisy common room....

We booked a couple of nights there, in a double room. The room was big enough and sufficiently clean. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly, in a way that one would expect in a bureaucratic organisation more than in some hostels. The first night we were spending some time at the bar, chatting with other guests, when some people -...

Good points: -Rooms were spacious and kept comfortably cool with air con -Pretty clean -Cheap (we paid 40CNY (about 5 euro) for 8 bed dorm) Bad points: - rudest staff I have ever encountered. The girl receptionist with the glasses was appalling- literally tutting and rolling her eyes when I asked her something. The two guys who were night staff...

At first time i was there in spring 2012. Twin room was good. A second time was not so good, because didn't book in advance, it was a holiday; the room without windows, very dark. But in general everything is ok, wi-fi slow on first floor. Good location.

The four of us arrived tired from the long flight from Chicago. Our room was quiet and clean. They supplied no towels; we had to purchased our own. They had good email and printing service. The oatmeal was good at breakfast. Overall, they were worth the money.

I heard about this hostel from friends, who told me it was the best hostel for partying in Beijing. And boy, did I party. The hostel bar/restaurant is a nice place to grab some beers, a meal or a coffee, and meet new people. After that, you have a range of different clubs not too far away. The dorm i...

Whether you want to party in the sanlitun bar area or explore Beijing's tourist sites, this hostel is a great base for visiting Beijing. It is a small walk (10 minutes) from the Dongsishitiao subway station on Line 2, but almost a straight shot so once you know which way to walk its easy. The restaurant/bar here is good for...
