Sutch a lovely place to stay at, so different from all the surroudings in this area. The staff puts alot of effort into their job from making amazing coffee/food to booking trips for you, helping with laundry and borrowing you towels ect. Helped us alot as we had not planned any trips ahead. The room we stayed at was perfect...

Great hostel, one of the nicest id stayed in in china. Lovely lounge/ eating area. I stayed in a dorm, which was really small, but the whole place had such a nice feel, it didnt matter.loved the hutong with fab little eateries, shops and pubs, i would really recommend staying here

I stayed here 2 nights during my trip in Beijing and I really appreciated this place. It's quiet (compared to the street, very noisy and crowded), nice, comfortable and very well located (5 minutes from the metro station). The staff members speaks English (a very rare quality in Beijing !) and are helpful. However, the restaurant prices are a little...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a 5 week trip in China. Lovely, clean place with lovely, helpful, English speaking staff. A quiet respite, in spite of being on a very busy Hutong street. Within walking distance of many of the biggest attractions and the wonderful Beijing subway system. The adjoining Peking Cafe, also very peaceful, is...

Stayed here with my husband and 24 year old son in a family room . Overall clean tidy and comfortable base in a very interesting old area , but not really a hostel for backpackers . Food very expensive , so buy outside from the street markets . Excellent coffee but again pricey !!!!

I had an amazing 5 day stay in this hostel. To be honest, yes the bathroom is small (only 2 toilets and 2 showers) and the rooms are average standard. But the staff is amazing (e.g. it was my birthday and they wrote me a card and gave me a gift!), the cafe and the lobby are full of flowers,...

My room (double, en suite) was nice enough--nothing too fancy for a hostel. But the bathroom was quite nice. The terrace was lovely as well. My only problems were with the restaurant. The food was good, but I was told I couldn't take pictures in the restaurant. That would have been fine, except that many other people around me were...

This is the fourth hostel I have stayed in in Beijing and far and away the best. It is located just off Nanluoguxiang Hutong and is very close to a subway station. However, despite being in such a popular area, it is a haven of tranquility and entering the hostel is akin to entering a florist shop. Fresh flowers are...

I went to the Peking Hostel just for a cocktail and something to eat- it was really pleasant! Wifi had some problems starting to work, but at some point I made it! The food & drinks were great, the staff as well..

Real oasis of tranquility on the busy, touristy Nanluoguxiang. Near access to metro line 6. Rooms are very good, only wifi in one corner of our familyroom. Staff helped us to arrange a nice taxi to the Jinshanling great wall. (a must !) This hostel is not for low-budget backpackers. The related pekingcafe serves nice asian and western dishes but...
