Recently I returned for a two night stay at the Marriott Beijing City Wall Hotel. It’s been a favorite in Beijing for several years. Everything is up to a high Western standard. It’s also extremely good value for money. The staff you encounter in the lobby is fluent in English. The rooms are large. Mine had a glass wall between...

Great location, just right beside the largest train station - Beijing Station. Surrounded with lots of good food, restaurant. Hotel breakfast was good, if 1 thing to improve then will be the food variety.

Great returning to the comfort of the room after long, cold days of sightseeing! Staff was OK, service above Chinese standards, though they were not particularly helpful in the buffet. Breakfast was very rich with both Asian and Western selections, dinner not to my taste for the most part, but still ok. The hotel is centrally located, in walking distance...

We recently stayed in this hotel and enjoyed our stay during Chinese New Year. Staff was very friendly (have to say that Frankie, front desk staff, is an absolute winner), rooms/beds where as you expect from a Marriott Hotel and the location is perfect. Yes indeed the hotel is a little bit "old" however you should not forget that the...

This hotel is old, there is nothing arround if you want to talke a walk, it is beside a very busy high way. The hotel was centrally located for the tour to take us to the sites but not very nice. It is next to some ruins that were supposed to have been the city walls, they are lightened at...

Located near the 2nd ring road, this was a 5-10 min walk from two different subway stops which made getting to any of the tourist sites or airport very easy. Concierge and hotel staff spoke good enough English to help out with anything needed.

I broke up my trip from Canada to Chengdu with a Dayton Beijing and stayed at the City Wall Marriott that is amazingly right next to a remnant of the old city wall. The hotel is centrally located with good access to the Subway (which itself is efficient and at 3 rmb per trip a great way to avoid traffic)....
