For student at Beijing or Peking University, this hotel is the best because just incite campus area. The room & breakfast is good, and have heater for shower and room climate. Front desk people just speak Chinese :( and a little bit English

For a conference at Peking University, I stayed here for four nights. Good location as it is right next to the University (and other hi-tech sites such as various national centers). However, to the downtown (eg. the Forbidden City), it takes about 40 minutes at least. The price was reasonable (Y458/night for double occupancy). As the other reviewers put it,...

I was staying at building 1. The breakfast in building 1 was pretty good with a lot of selections. Both western and chinese breakfast options. Unfortunately, I was visiting during the golden week which the breakfast place was closed. I had to go to building 6 for breakfast, which the food was quite disappointing. First of all, they didn't seem...

I stayed twice in Building 1 (in 2012 and 2014) and once in Building 9 (in 2013). Building 1 is fancier, like a hotel, but rooms are smaller. Building 9 is plainer, like a guest house, but rooms are bigger --- the corner unit I stayed in was a suite with separate living room and bedroom. The buffet spread for...

Building 1 is a 4-star hotel (OK, maybe more like 3.5 star); building 9 is more like a 2-star place. They even have breakfast at different places. I must admit that building 1 is a pretty nice and upscale place; building 9 is pretty shoddy. So check twice where you book! The stuff were very accommodating (at bld.1) and spoke...

Stayed here during a conference at Beijing University. Its location is only good for university-related activities as it's on 4th ring road, quite far from the city centre but close to all the universities. It's also not far from subway station, but it's in a quiet area so don't expect a convenience store nearby. There's restaurants and a cafe next...

The hotel was fine, clean, service was perfect and the staff always friendly! It's good value for money. The location is good when you are visiting a friend who stays in the global village. Otherwise, it is a bit too far from the city center.

While visiting Peking University I stayed here for five days. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the University campus, close to a metro station. Rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, well-furnished in typical Western hotel fashion and have air conditioning. Importantly the beds are really excellent. Also importantly, I didn't smell the pollution from outside (we had an...

Set in a large complex across the road for Peking University's East Gate this didn't immediately inspire with very boring functional architecture from the outside. Taxi drivers also had difficulty finding despite having the address provided in Chinese. However the Room interior was modern and clean. An ashtray seemed to suggest that one could smoke in the rooms but there...

My husband and I stayed here twice during a visit to be with our daughter who was spending 3 months in Beijing. Our daughter was staying in the Village as well so it was very handy to meet up with her. The Village is situated beside Peking University and we stayed in an Executive suite in one of the 9...
