I agree with other reviews that it is a perfect place if your activities are mostly centered at the University, and reasonably well-communicated by subway to the center (about 40 min).
The Jingshi hotel is an OK place to stay in Beijing. It has everything that one needs for a cheap but OK stay in the capital of China.
