Located in an interesting hutong district. This small courtyard hotel is built around an attractive courtyard where guests gather for breakfast, tea and respite from the crowds of Beijing. Rooms are attractively decorated, with modern bathrooms and good showers. Best feature of all are Sam and Jerry the owners of the hotel. They speak good English and will help organize...

We arrived in Beijing via train with heaps of dirty laundry and a dire need for a hot shower and softer bed. So glad we were booked into this B&B/ upmarket hostel. Jerry took all our laundry and washed and dried it for free. The shower was strong and hot! Bed was comfy :) Wifi was excellent and easy to...

We stayed here by accident as our other hotel had double booked us. What a nice surprise we had, the rooms are charming, a flat screen tv and good shower. The staff , Sam and Jerry were great hosts and we loved the communal aspect of the courtyard. And the free waters were a godsend

We couldnt find availability in any of the other top 6 hutongs and ended up with Courtyard view for our recent stay in Beijing - Definitely worth getting down the list even though I typically dont go down that far in the list. Hutong is in a central location (about 15min walk from Beixinqiao station in Red line?). Alternatively you...

We stayed in the courtyard view for about 10 nights, with a group of 7 persons. The advantages: - great atmosphere ( small courtyard to read/chat ) - free laundry, wifi or computer use - friendly staff ( always helpful, trusteable, ... ) - nice enough rooms: airco, flatscreen, shower... - the area ( gulou dongjie, nanluoguxiang ) is one...

A great location and very helpful staff. Just don't ask them to wash your clothes. Comfortable rooms, we stayed in a standard 7 nights and then a deluxe for 3 nights for a change. The photos on some websites don't really show how it is, obviously not professionaly decorated, but it is comfortable and cheap and good after spending a...

My husband, adult son, and I stayed for 5 nights at the Courtyard View, and we were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, even providing packing materials so that my son could send some of his odder-shaped market finds through as luggage. The street life of the surrounding hutong area was fascinating, and we found lots...

I decided to share my experience at Courtyard View Hotel because every traveler should know that this is one of the best hotels. Once I have arrived at the hotel, everyone was smiling which is the most important, the people from reception etc. I did not expect that the hotel is fully booked in this time. But the room was...

My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Courtyard with Jerry and Jim as our hosts. This is in the Hutong area which was great to experience. They were very clean and comfortable rooms, which is all we wanted. We had a deluxe room with our own bathroom, which was great. We took taxis to some places...
