We stayed here for 7 nights - 3 in the deluxe room and 4 in a standard room. Both were clean, comfortable and had western style bathrooms in the room. The deluxe room had a canopied bed, larger desk and was about twice the size. We'd have stayed there if it had been available for the week, however the standard...

We spent six nights here in Beijing and enjoyed our stay immensely. We had booked a standard room which was very small, but as we were out and about all day this didn't bother us. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom small but functional. Heating worked well. Only disappointment was that there was no fridge in the room....

Martin was very friendly and helpful - even going to the pharmacy with us when my son had the flu and needed medicine. Loved our rooms with very comfy beds. Nice quiet area and felt totally safe at all times. Located 10 minute walk from the subway (line 5) which is the best way to get around. Loved the small...

Some hutong hotels required minimun 2 night stays whereas this hotel does not come with this rule. So, we booked with this hotel. We checked in in Aug 2010 with my 5 yrs old daughter. We booked via telephone directly to the hotel for a standard room with twin beds. Subsequent correspondence was done via email. On morning we arrived,...

This is a great small hotel. Six simple but comfortable rooms around a small sunny courtyard in one of the fast disappearing hutong districts of Beijing. The area is quiet, the beds are good and Jack and Bonnie did everything they could to help us cheerfully and efficiently. The neighborhood is great if you want a taste of old Beijing mixed...

The hotel is hard to find, particularly as there are roadworks in the lane leading to it and taxis cannot get to the door. The hotel staff are very helpful and come to assist you with unloading your bags. Bonnie is charming, very efficient and speaks excellent English. The two men are less competent but try hard to make your...

The Courtyard View hotel is only six rooms but they are spotless and the team of people on duty (We met Bonnie and Jack) went out of their way to ensure a very pleasant visit. We were about two miles from the Forbidden City and we should have taken a pedi-cab in the hot weather, but we walked. Stopped for...

After quickly looking at the photos and reading the reviews, I booked the Courtyard View Hotel for 3 days. When we arrived, we discovered that they really only had a room for 2 nights, and would drive us over to another hotel for the third night. While the location in the hutongs is great and the staff is extremely sweet...

I was very lucky that the hotel was a great choice for my Beijing trip! The people there are very nice! They have a few cell phones available to let the guests to use for free, I borrowed one of their cell phones for 7 days and whenever I needed directions, or when I got lost I could always call...

The hotel in itself located in a renovated hutong is really nice. The beds are comfortable and there is enough heating for cold nights. On sunny days, you can enjoy the delicious and generous Chinese breakfast in the courtyard. A Western breakfast is also available, but we didn't try it. The hotel staff was very helpful. They played a big...
