looks nice, bed comfortable...everything else? nope. -new-er hotel so taxis would either not know where this place is or try to scam you into going that far. also nearest subway line was 15min taxi drive. seriously. -concierge nor front desk knew any english so asking for anything, even for more toilet paper was a nightmare. for a 5-star, this should...

Good hotel, big rooms, good restaurant but not 5 stars. The staff doesn't speak a good English, far from city centre and nothing in the surroundings but the worse point is the room cleaning! Embarrassing for a 5 star! I've found used cotton buds in my bathroom and also the second day, they are still there!!! Also there was strange...

As our flight was cancelled, we were sent by the airline company to this hotel, which is 20 minutes ride from the airport. It is foungd in a business district. In order to get to the metro, we took a cab from the hotel- 13 yuan. The room was large and comfortabe. Breakfast was very good with a large variety...

I have stayed in this hotel couple of times because of close proximity to our Beijing office. Hotel is pretty good. Everything works. I like the room. Lobby bar is ok but like in many hotels in China - I do not like the breakfast there too much. Will stay again.

Room is spacious. However internet access is spotty and slow. Not good for business trip. Breakfast with quite a lot of choices but taste is average only. It is located at 5th ring on north east so it's quite a distance if you want to visit city center. Best option is to travel by subway.

Stayed here 2 nites for conference. Around 30-40 mins drive from airport. Hardware not bad. Room size good. Conference facilities good. Buffet breakfast variety not bad. Ok clean by local standards. Software not 5 stars as they claimed. Most staff rather chitchat to each other than to serve guests.

Advertised as a "5 star" hotel, and it probably is. It is not, however, an international chain and thus the English language skills of the staff is such that it would be difficult for non-Chinese speakers to lodge here. Stayed one night, due to flight being cancelled and the airline putting passengers up for the night. Adequate for an over...

My room on the 22nd floor was really posh. One could recline. In bed and at the same time observe all the activities in the bathroom, especially in the tub. When one would tire of this you could just press the button and a blind would slowly descend! The bath towels resembled small blankets. There is a good buffet on...

Kuntai hotel is located on 5th ring road so if you a tourist I do not recommend you to stay here unless like my husband who had a business meeting here. Probably if the newest subway station open in East Wangjing road it will be more convenience for travelers to go to many beautiful historic building "must see" in beijing....
