Room is spacious but old fashion furnishing. Corridor is dark and smelly. Wifi is weak. But it's clean. Towels and bath robe feels nice and thick though. Lots of variety for the Breakfast buffet. Location is good, about 10 minutes walk to the shopping/tourist place Wangfujing. There's construction Outside the hotel and is noisy even at night.

Spent three nights at this hotel, ok so it's clean and convenient, staff helpful(ish) but the quality of service is very poor for the prices, beer and and G and T= £14 no nibbles and very slow service. We tried a pizza and salad very reasonable £15 but no napkins and the empty plates were still table when we left...

Exterior upgrading of the hotel is in operation until the end of September 2017. Works are in progress 24/7, using pole-drivers all day and NIGHT, making it impossible to sleep even after taking sleeping tablets! The air conditioning in the rooms was unavailable, and it was impossible to open the windows due to the horrendous noise. The beds were extremely...

This hotel was enormous - plenty of facilities including indoor swimming pool and gym - several restaurants - rooms were clean and welcoming - great view from the windows - bonus was that the windows opened. Not always easy to be understood/understanding the staff - but would definitely stay again

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is quite good and it close to one of the famous local Beijing Roasted Duck shop called 'Li Qun". If you want to walk to the forbidden city, it takes around 20mins to reach I think... As I was taking the cab from forbidden city to hotel, takes around 8mins...

Well lit and beautiful lobby, excellent coffee shop, endless array of breakfast buffet foods, friendly staff, big comfortable beds, everything works. And centrally located. WiFi. Enough English channels so we could keep up to date.

Good location close to the forbidden city, and also close to the metrostation. Perfect! Nice staff and clean room, but it was a bit too hot in the hotelroom, and it smelled sigarets. Ask after a sigaret-free room if you dont like the smell :)

I have visited the Capital Hotel annually for many years, but this is my first review of the hotel. I have seen always been pleased with the service from the hotel, and was once again satisfied this January even though they were undergoing some renovations to their entrance. The rooms are always well cared for and clean, and the morning...

Big rooms and good facility as pool, spa, restaurant and so on. the only problem is the difficult communications with desk people and the old furniture on the rooms. position is the main point just few minute away Tiananmen Square.

I have been living in Beijing for over 4 months as an English teacher now. My partner has just moved to do the same. I decided to book us a special treat in a 5* reputable hotel for our first night. It's a very beautiful hotel. They have a lot of facilities and the decor is impressive. The rooms are...
