Stayed at the place after our hike on the wall. The location has a lot of conference guests or other business travellers. We had access to the lounge and enjoyed the breakfast and the view from there very much. There are a few shops nearby the hotel, and there are a few places for grabbing a tea / coffee and...

Conveniently located. Front desk is not quick for check-in, when they have many guests. Excellent breakfast. Good quality pillows and mattreses. I stayed in a room connected to another one by a locked door. The intimacy was zero. You may hear even a whisper from the neighbors. Nothing interesting on tv (low quality image). Noisy because of major repairs inside...

Take the renovated rooms only if... you would like to smell a lighter cigar odor, you don't mind the AC was not part of the renovation and enjoy cheap casino air on the dark ambient.. took my baby and wife just for one night for a connection... to "enjoy" the Swiss on the road... fatal... Buffet lunch... disgrace... very limited...

I am a regular guest to this hotel and I have good understanding to the hotel services. This hotel is well maintain and the overall hotel service is good. The most convenient is the Beijing subway station is right in front of this hotel, therefore, there is no needs to fight through the heavy Beijing traffic. I stayed in this...

Some of the reviews talk about this hotel being tired etc. But I thought it was fine. I took a junior suite which meant there was a small lounge area in the room. The breakfasts were very good and the front desk service very efficient. I used the laundry and that all went to plan. I stayed here partly for...

The rooms are a little outdated, a lot of dark wood, not so modern, but clean and enough room. I was lucky, I had a room facing the back, so it was quiet, my colleague had a room facing the big road, so it was very loud in his room. The hotel has a very big gym, with almost everything...

Dear Hiroshi san, Thank you for staying with us at Swissotel Beijing and your loyal membership in our Circle Club. I appreciate your nice comments regarding our location and position within the city. Your visit coincided with People's Congress which has added security measures and does require more attention. Regardless I do understand your frustration with our hotel and I...

Dear Zack Z, Thank you for staying with us at Swissotel Beijing. I appreciate your comments about the hotel, however I am a bit confused about where the downtown you are talking about. We are 15 minutes walking distance to Sanlitun and couple of stations away from most tourist attraction such as Tianamon Square, Forbidden City. Our train line is...

The hotel is quite old but the rooms are well equipped. We chose it because of its great location, right at the metro and walking distance to Sanlitun. Also, it has a decent-sized swimming pool and a great gym. Considering the prices in Sanlitun, if you are looking for a hotel that's affordable/on the cheaper side and offers a pool...

I've stayed here twice last year, once got a room upgrade which made my stay a lot more convenient. All in all, this really shouldn't be a five-star hotel, rooms and service just aren't up to par. To be fair, room rates are lower than most other five-star hotels as well but I know four-star hotels in Beijing that I...
