We had a one night stay at the Traders Hotel, the service was excellent, the room was 5 star as well s the food. Had a great stay.

Pros: perfectly situated in the business heart of Beijing (you can overlook the somewhat bizarre CCTV headquarters) underground malls, restaurants just beneath the building (even a skating facility!) easy access to main underground lines close (by Beijing standards) to historical places like Forbidden City etc. clean rooms friendly staff good cuisine (Chinese and international). You cannot starve even if you...

OK hotel, 4-star probably, probably renovated in the last 5 years, but small rooms and claustrophobic bathrooms. Service is good though, friendly, breakfast buffet not bad at all, vast choice. Issue is to get a cab from there, always a struggle. It is a member of the Shangri-La family, but do not expect similar hotel...It is also way below the...

Would definitely stay here again. The location is the big selling point -- it's a convenient walk or cab ride both to the business districts and to many tourist sites. The hotel itself was comfortable. Rooms are a decent size, the restaurant is fine, and there are other eating options in the mall next door. It might not be the...

I have never used Traders before, but would happily do so again, with or without the 50 Australian students and teachers I travelled with in September, 2011. The hotel staff did not miss a beat with the size or demands of the group. At all times they were efficient and helpful. By far and away this was the most welcoming,...

Location: Great, as it is central to business district. Short taxi ride to close by shopping including the popular XiuShui Shopping (though some may choose to walk), carrefour, sanlitun etc. The hotel is right at the GuoMao Station (国贸) conveniently you can even have meals at the shopping belt downstairs or even do your shopping there. If you do get...

I spent 8 nights at the Traders Hotel this September for a work visit to the city. In short, it is a fantastic hotel situated in such a handy location for pretty much anything you need to do in Beijing. The staff are fantastic and check-in was very smooth. I didn’t experience any language issues at all which I did...

it is definitely one of the more affordable accomodation in the best location, the World Trade Centre. I was lucky to be around all the sights pretty easily (Beijing is one Huge city) with just a ride away. The shopping mall was just downstairs and actually all around this area, whereas booking tours for sightseeing is a breeze too. i...

Hotel was recommended by my local office in Beijing, but in general it's not what I expected from Shangri-La mark. The positive parts are very customer and service minded staff , although I had problems to communicate at the reception , as not everyone speaks English, which should not be the case in such hotel. Other relatively advantage is the...

I've stayed here many times. Location is very good for shopping & business, although it's entrance on a small side, one way street Makes it difficult to catch taxis during peak hours. The recently-remodeled restaurant and lobby area definitely add ambiance. Breakfast buffet is OK if not spectacular- oriented at the mainly-local patrons. REception staff is very friendly and welcoming,...
