I checked into this hotel by mistake. I had the name of my tour group's hotel wrong. The people here were very helpful in contacting my group and in providing a room at the last minute. Contrasted with other reports here, the bed was comfy and clean. The breakfast selection was terrific with both Chinese and Western options in a...

The hotel's location is definitely amazing. Literally 2 metro stops away from Tiananmen Square and the entrance to the Forbidden City. Had no problem moving around. The service was a bit serious and not that helpful but if you talk to them a little they are open and willing to help you. The rooms had no A/C and therefore this...

First visit to Beijing and found this to be a good location, shopping and sites are nearby. As for the hotel, there are not many positives. Rooms are ok size, but dirty and worn out. Carpets in our room was filthy (see pic). Beds and linen were hard. Staff were very unfriendly! Breakfast was average.

The only good thing we found staying here was the location. It is an excellent location, right by Wangfujing Subway line and right off Wangfujing street, very close to the markets and walking distance to Tian Sq and Forbidden City. The beds were very uncomfortable. Do not stay here and expect Western standard hotel. The third extra bed was so...

This hotel is fine but not really geared for international travelers. Not very many staff spoke English, so don't expect to be able to pop down to the desk for questions/directions. The room was no smoking but the no smoking sign was directly behind the ashtray. Room wasn't as clean as it should be, and the room was very tired...

We stayed here during a recent business trip to Beijing. Firstly we chose this hotel due to its location. It is just of Wangfujing Street main shopping boulevard area. The other major attractions like Tienanmen Square and Forbidden City are just a short taxi ride away. For Beijing standards the hotel rate falls in the mid-range. It is an average...

Very sorry to say that I was very disappointed with this hotel,we were given complimentary upgrade due to celebrating our anniversary, the staff were very helpful but the room was extremely basic and not sufficiently clean,we complained and were given another room which was slightly better. I can cope with basic as long as clean. The bed was the hardest I...

The location is awesome and outweighs most minor negatives about this hotel. Just steps outside of the front door is Wangfujing, shopping, malls, 24 hour McDonalds, etc. if you are ok with a short walk, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are also within reasonable walking distance. The location is so good that I've stayed here twice! The subway is...

While the staff is helpful and the location is very central I really didn't like my stay here. I only stayed for a night but I really regret choosing it. While there were some small things like the wi-fi switching off and on and sometimes being extremely slow, The air condition is really loud sometimes, the bed was very hard...

“Some of the rooms face the courtyard restaurant and not the street. These rooms are probably quieter but the windows will not give access to natural light in the room. Make sure to indicate smoking or non-smoking room upon booking as there are floors in the hotel that at designated non-smoking floors.”
