Very modern and hip hotel for our first impression. Sitting next to the new world shopping mall and can access through level 5 of the hotel lift - no one informing us about this and the weather was cold and harsh when we arrived. We only get the information from the house keeping lady. There is much about this hotel...

I made a reservation through Booking.com which showed a score of 8.1 (Very Good). Also the pictures make look this hotel like a good and decent one. What a DECEPTION! Well, let me tell you the area of this Hotel is AWFUL : neglected and dirty buildings in the surrounding. The Lobby and all furniture around looks dirty and worn...

Rooms were very spacious and clean with daily house keeping (we stayed 9 nights). The hotel offers tour packages that are not too pricey to take you to places like the great wall which is quite far to go on your own. Its near the temple of heaven, and the palace museum. Its also close to the Chong wen Men...

The Pentahotel was just around the corner from the Chongwenmen train station(about 100 mtrs). However, if you have heavy suitcases, I would not suggest taking the train from the airport as there are no escalators at the station. We stayed one week at the hotel and found the location to be perfect. We were able to walk to Tiannamen Square...

Sadly the rooms don't live up to the wonderful website. Funky and catchy website which I thought would lead to the hotel having a 'citizen M' look and feel but was greet with very tired old rooms in desperate need of a revamp. Hotel advertises as a boutique hotel but is a large roomed building hotel adjacent to a shopping...

Airline called to tell me my baggage was claim. Staff told me that the airline didn't call despite telling them that the airline would to update on the status. Only know about it when I went down personally to the airport to check. Rude and poor customer service too. One of the worst hotels to stay on. Especially during winter...

Was a little hard to find the entrance cause it's in the back but decor inside is very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Showers are hot and powerful. Very comfortable. You see a lot of guests hanging out in the lobby.

Chosen this mainly because of it´s location. Yes, it is close and walking distance to ToH but for Tiamen, Forbidden Palace and Wangfujing you have to take to the bicycle provided for rent by the Hotel. This is btw great fun in Beijing but dangerous. Breakfast is outstanding. Unfortunately, after one hour not much left. Looks and this is my...

Good central location, next to subway stop. Many shopping centers and places to eat nearby. Not great command of English. Had some difficulty in the reception and the restaurant. We stressed the need to have non-spicy food when we ordered and in return received a bowl of noodles full of chilly! Also, keep in mind that central heating is government...

This is a 3 star hotel. I prefer 5 star. Room is very small, no good english tv channels. Bathroom verrry small. Lots of smokers in hotel. No good nearby restaurants, only fast food. Would not recommend this hotel.
