With four short days in Beijing, the central location of this hostel was perfect. We planned nothing ahead of time and looked to the staff to provide recommendations. They were INCREDIBLY helpful and honest. We ended up enjoying our stay a lot more than we expected and a lot of it was because of them. Food was meh, but that...

I really enjoyed to stay there - room was clean And quiet. Common bathroom is very clean Also. Everyone was helpful. Many things to visit all around where you can go by walking (Forbidden city). The house offers also cheap dinner solution if you're tired. I really recomend this place.

Red Lantern is located in one of the hutongs which makes it a perfect spot to start exploring Beijing. The closest metro is about 15-min walk, and from there you can head off to adventure (be mindful that Beijing is a huge city, so getting to every place takes some time even though you're pretty much in the center!). The...

My husband and I stayed here for a few times already. I like its proximity to subway stations, English-speaking stuff and how fast they reply your emails. If you book four nights or more, you get free breakfast (in my opinion only coffee is worth it). Shower has good temperature and pressure. Stuff is generally helpful, although not particularly friendly....

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here while in Beijing - we spent 4 nights in total. We booked a private en suite double room which ended up being located about a 3-5mins walk from the main building. Our building had its own common area and reception to help with everything! We did our Great Wall trip through...

We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults, for around 2 weeks stay. Located walking distance to 3 stations, but is around 750m away to the closest station (Ping'anli or Xinjiekou Station). Very basic room amenities, such as a/c, ensuite toilet/bathroom, small table, in-room wifi. No TV or mini-bar in the room. What I Like : - Helpful people, just anyone...

The hostel is located in a small alley in the heart of Beijing. There are three subway stations within walking distance, which makes it very easy to explore the city. The dorm room was very spacious and clean. All rooms have access to the country yard, which is a great place to have breakfast or have some drinks. The people...

I was travelling alone in China, a 72 year old woman, and chose this Hostel for it's location in the Hutongs right in the centre of the city. Initially my contact was with a lady who spoke excellent English and responded to my various enquiries by return. I felt I would be very safe in their Hostel. By booking a...
